This is the frustrating part for me. You can have a great lineup of weekend activities even if the athletics suck. Yes, a winning team makes it more fun, but that’s not a prerequisite for having concerts, bbq, etc. maybe this pisses me off more than it should. I’m not in the stage of life to go most likely anyway (kid activities on Saturdays), but there is no excuse for this other than extremely poor leadership. I’m really just embarrassed by how bad we are at the things we can control.I don't get it either, brother. Forgetting about wins and losses for a minute, there is absolutely zero juice surrounding MSU athletics right now, and I don't get why we continue to kill what little excitement prior administrations were able to drum up.
If Selmon were to post an online poll right now with one simple question, "Are you excited about State athletics?", the approval rating might be < 20%
