Huge home game coming up next Saturday at 3:30pm. Another P5 opponent coming into town and a very good chance to go 3-0 heading to Michigan. This team has played well to start the year and deserves a full house when they face the Hokies.
Agree with everything you said. I hope our fans turn out, especially on what should be a gorgeous warm (but not hot or muggy) day. 3-0 would be huge.Huge home game coming up next Saturday at 3:30pm. Been reading this same thing on this board for years. None of this will happen.Agree it should be sold out. Time to stop the negative Nancy crap and get people to the game AND IN Their Friggin seats 15 minutes BEFORE kick off! Cut the tail gates down earlier. Embarrassing
Win next week and this team starts building something specialHuge home game coming up next Saturday at 3:30pm. Another P5 opponent coming into town and a very good chance to go 3-0 heading to Michigan. This team has played well to start the year and deserves a full house when they face the Hokies.
This is a huge game because like 98% of the college football teams we won’t be beating Ohio state , michigan or penn state so that leaves us the rest of the games to get 6 wins. VT is a good opponent to test us to see how much we have grown this year .Huge home game coming up next Saturday at 3:30pm. Give out the tv’s with. 5 minutes left in game?It would be nice if the students stay for the second half also
Last week it was the heat, last night must have been the need to get to a party - maybe a 3:30 start with high 70s temps will be the trick.Give out the tv’s with. 5 minutes left in game?
They knew it was over at 13-0 at the halfIt would be nice if the students stay for the second half also
It was a pretty boring game for a while there. But, I think VT in the afternoon with a shot to go 3-0 will be energizing more so than we have seen in a while. They knew it was over at 13-0 at the half![]()

Maybe RU needs to announce KO time as 15 minutes earlier than what it will actually beAgree it should be sold out. Time to stop the negative Nancy crap and get people to the game AND IN Their Friggin seats 15 minutes BEFORE kick off! Cut the tail gates down earlier. Embarrassing
Do other stadiums get you in faster than 15 min?I said this yesterday to my group...they need to add more people scanning tickets at the gates. While I know there are limited entry points that everyone has to funnel into but if they had 4-5 people deep scanning tickets things would move much faster. They do this in the parking lots which I find funny to keep the flow of traffic moving but do not do it at the gates.
We didn't get into the stadium until 7:30 and were on line for 15mins and there was a huge crowd. This can easily be fixed bc people are attempting to get into the stadium. This is NOT an issue with fans not showing up on time though that does still remain a larger issue
I coached my son’s afternoon middle school football game up in Sussex county yesterday which included waiting through a 1 hour lightning/rain delay. We ran to the car after the game ended and drove over an hour and got to our seats by the tail end of the second quarter.
I don’t want to hear ANY bs excuses why fans don’t get to the game.
If they're efficient, yes.Do other stadiums get you in faster than 15 min?
Yes!!! Other stadiums entry is much more efficient than RutgersDo other stadiums get you in faster than 15 min?
I noticed that in the NW game, we saw a long *** line , asked if that is the actual line to get in. Was told of you didn’t have bags , which we didn’t cuz were dudes, we could enter at the turnstile that had no line. We got in right awayYes!!! Other stadiums entry is much more efficient than Rutgers
The other large issue is the bag entry....that is one line on the North gate to check everyones bags. They can improve that as well

This. I had to leave at the half. I parked in NB so took the shuttle. The bus line cues were packed with students. It would be nice if the students stay for the second half also
Good posts ITT
Hopefully the non diehards show up to fill the stadium. Make RU Stadium a tough place to play for opponents like it used to be with deafening noise.
VT typically plays to a huge home field advantage.

Yep. We'll have 8 1/2 hours to tailgate if necessary (or you're married to @MrsScrew). Shut them down and get into your seats please.
12.5 hours! Not only did I tailgate for 12.5 hours but I was in the stadium before the horse video.
12.5 hours!
What's the Screw Family record?
12.5 hours!
What's the Screw Family record?
Is there a nap in between?12.5 is my record, done multiple times. 7am tailgate start every game, no matter what time the game is. 6am start for homecoming.
MrScrew's personal best may be 8 hours.
Been going to one game a year in The Big House for the last 20 years. Amazing how well they get over 110,000 people in that stadium so efficiently. Most of the crowd, except for some late arriving students, are seated before kickoff. Same is true at Autzen Stadium for Oregon games.Do other stadiums get you in faster than 15 min?
Do their fans all wait until 15 min before and get in within 15 min? Thought someone posted the same issue at PSU.Been going to one game a year in The Big House for the last 20 years. This ^^^ I noticed it takes a lot longer to scan 5 tickets than rip off 5 stubs. Now multiply that by 20,000 coming in 15 to 20 mins. before kickoff and you get cluster ****. You want the digital age Rutgers, than put in the infrastructure to handle it.RU staffs the admission gates as if we are still operating in the paper ticket stub days. One quick tear and you were inside. It’s a longer process to scan the tickets and RU hasn’t adjusted as other venues have. RU needs to take some of the money they are saving on ticket distribution and put it into more staffing at the gates.
