Don’t know how true it is but one of my buddies who coaches at Currituck said it’s gonna be a Wrh coach, we’ll see.

I was told interviews are being held now and after Christmas
Only coach there, that would make SW better, would be mot. An he ain't going nowhere

Definitely not happening. One could only wish. Met coach many times, great standup dude. Going to take a lot to get someone to take over the dumpster fire SW is at the moment. Maybe right after they drove Phil outta town, could have pulled a big time coach, but not now.
I sure hope WRH has a plan for an offensive coordinator if Adam goes to SWO.....and I hope that plan doesn't involve the spread offense.

Hope an pray this cat Adam doesn't ever come close to SW. It will be worse then Dempsey, by a far margin.
I am not sure if Mot loved the spread but I believe his OC Raynor sure did. I think Mot is more defensive minded.

Why the name calling? Oh, I forgot, that's your intelligence coming out. If you were as smart as you think you are then you would know that Whitehead has no interest in the job and he is not the OC. I also know that you were one of the problem parents at SW.
I'm old young grasshopper. Played at SWO in the 70s... Kids played in the early 2000s. Won three state titles. Don't worry about me weirdo, whiteheadass don't want the job cause he's terrible. Can't lead his own kids let alone a group of kids.
Okay old man. Who is the right person for the job since you seem to know so much about the program and support them so positively. I know exactly who you are and know that you are a fence hanger that only antagonizes the coaches and kids and you know nothing about coaching football.
I believe a decision will be made soon. I heard through the grapevine. Some current staffers threatened to quit if they didn’t get the job. If that is true I hope the next Coach at SWO drain the swamp.

I was hoping for Coach Adam Scones from WRH. His someone I felt had the resume to get SWO back on track. Disappointed not surprised the elites went with Family first. Garvey was put in place. His not ready to be a HC. Southwest Onslow will not win a single game. Bring Charlie Dempsey back sheesh

This guy Garvey was put in place for this. The guy is Dempsey 2.0. Hasn't proven anything in the coaching ranks. Terrible player and another guy who can't relate to the boys from three neighbors that feed SWO. SWO will never be the same, I've came to realize. Saw him coach a JV team for one game. Came away like wow, what a **** show I just witnessed.
Father is the president of the BOE in the county. Family member is the county AD. You bypass Scronce who has checked all the boxes when it comes to coaching and hire the less qualified. I have no idea how its gonna turn out, but i'm not hopeful. Winning on thursday nights is a lot different than friday nights.
As an alumni, i would've liked for someone with more experience as a coordinator or head coach come in than what was hired. But i guess we will see what happens.
Now I agree, Garvey was put in place. But for you to say he wasn’t a good player that’s simply not true. Far as his coaching achievement’s you nailed it. Dempsey was also a good player & great guy look how that turnt out. Did Garvey get the job probably because he threatened to leave? (Yes) he went running to daddy crying. Nobody won with the hire of Garvey. Mainly it hurt the kids robbing them of qualified candidates. Not a knock at nobody it is what it is.

If you say so, the dude was trash imo. Couldn't even hold my linemen jock strap. Tiny and weak minded. He would never run through a wall. But we shall see what his football teams line up against Havelock look like. SWO might win one game next year
