And it sucks. Every person in the house agrees. If you thought the ESPN interface was too convoluted and overstuffed.. you ain't seen nothin yet.

The moment YTTV figures it out I'll switch back.
We can get the full Monty ESPN package for $30.00, if I understand, is that correct? And that would include the ABC games?
I'm in no hurry.

That’s correct, it’s what I have and it’s been totally fine for someone like me who’s only live TV watching is sports, really.

I tried Hulu Live a few months ago and hate the interface. I was a long time YTTV man but got sick of the constant price increases and tapped out sometime in the spring.

That's what I did first of September. I'll keep it till end of football and dump it till next September because I dont do basketball at all and don't sit still long enough for a 9 inning baseball game on tv

That's the way I was when I watched NASCAR years ago, I didn't turn it on till the last half hour or so of the race because just watching cars go around in a circle didn't do it for me and you can see the wreck highlights on the news so why watch the rest?

I have had Hulu/Disney/ESPN bundle for years because of the bundling, but I always preferred YouTube. I got outvoted by my family.

Thank you! When we cancled cable. Wife picked up Hulu live. It took me one week to go buy and install an OTA antenna. Because I just want to hit the power button and have my local channels.

They make Hulu to work with all the old old square TVs as the lowest common denominator. To reach the widest audience possible. So yes the interface looks like a 1980 Atari.

I'm starting to think me overpaying for Dish may be ok. At least they have a decent menu and I can find things easily. If only they didn't have a cap on their internet time.

The user interface is extremely bad. It's one of of the reasons I went to YouTube tv years ago. But YouTube price hikes with no extras just isn't a good deal. Hulu not offering multi channel for sports also sucks, going back and is more difficult than it should be on live. For as much money is espn and Hulu have with Disney their apps are in a desperate need of upgrades.

Fubo is by far the best IMO and I’ve had all. Super easy interface and only about $70-$100 depending on which package you want. Can have 5 different accounts watching at once

We’ve been just doing the sling day pass + sports extra for $6 total on Saturdays while YTTV figures it out with Disney.

Futbo does not have TNT or other major channels like TBS from older fights with networks.

I have it and haven't had any issues yet, but I JUST started my subscription. I like it so far but Holy hell my bill is $97/month. I feel like I'm getting ripped off and just don't know any better. I'm new to streaming.

Get ready to break your billfold out if you keep Hulu!

Over the air antenna is definitely the way to go if you have channels close by. I don't think a lot of people realize how easy it is to set one up and have lots of free channels. The clarity and picture are so much better over the air with an antenna as well. Even in little ole Starkville I get 15 good channels and then a bunch of screaming preachers and Home Shopping crap that I dont care for. When I was in the Reservoir area of Jackson I got between 35 and 40 on the antenna. If anyone hasn't looked into it you really need to.

I'd have one already, but the options to be able to record either have a lot of hit-and-miss reviews or are hardware heavy. The ATSC 3.0 changes are definitely part of the former.

Yes, but with ads on the non-live stuff, which most people don't realize. Of course the live games have commercials.

Not sure how my kids are going to take it when ads start popping up. But ad-free is $39 so may just do that.

And obviously we won't get NBC, FOX or CBS anymore.

What do you record? I haven't owned a recorder of any type since VHS went away 30 yrs ago. Most anything I watch I don't care to record and most of it (especially sports and network shows) can be viewed again the next day on the channel that originally ran it anyway.

I've been fighting it for 10 years. I got the retention department on speed dial.
I did the same until fiber became available. Set a calendar reminder every 5 months. If only we could have an AI agent call for us and say no, no, no five times until we get the best last deal offered lol.

Completely agree. The interface is not user-friendly.

We made the Hulu Live switch as well. I had it years ago but switched to YTTV for the user experience but made the move back this past week. The UX is awful with Hulu but at least I can watch the dawgs
No doubt it's a learning experience but I am with you, at least I get all the sports again. I got the discount for 3 months and I will see how things ago after this expires.

A couple of particular newscasts, and a number of shows we watch. I also not-infrequently delay watching sports and then play catch up.
We can get most of the shows later via other methods, but then you have ads.

I tried to warn you. It is the worst interface ever.
What sucks about it? Reading this thread makes me think I'm missing out on something awesome from another provider. I don't find Hulu any harder to use than Netflix, Prime or Youtube. I've never used YTTV.
