As Pop-Eye once said, "I have all I can stanz and can't stanz no more". I was looking forward to the game before all these posting, but now I am looking even more forward to it. SWO is only talking about EB's offense, which they should. But the strongest part of EB's team may be the defense, especially against the ground game. EB held Clinton to 16 points, of which 10 came from turnovers. EB held Whiteville to 6 points, which were scored on defense. EB held South Columbus to 14 points. If EB has a weakness it is against a spread passing team,of which ya'll say SWO is the ground game.
As far as the downplay on the conference EB is in, 5 of 10 teams made it to the second round and which two are now in the third round. Sorry to dispute some of the threads, but everything I stated is FACT.

I assure you that no one at SWO is overlooking East Bladen. Very talented team. Loves to run the ball like we do and they do it very well. With no passing, game could be over by 9pm. LOL
2003 I was on the top row, 40 yard line. Last game I was at before I retired and left. What a come back by SWO. Well I did go to the title game and made the trip from Missouri for the 2004 game also.
Trust me SWO poster ain't gone nowhere, but have enough common sense to know what we can, and can't do. Last couple of years we lost a lot of kids that where on track to attend SWO. Surprisingly during that time Northside went to a state title game, and Jacksonville became very good again (GET THE POINT).

Every time I see Kendric Burney I tell him that was one of the most amazing runs I have ever seen by a HS player in a big time situation. e was always the truth, but after that run I knew he was one of Onslow counties greatest players period.

I think SWO wins this game. SWO knows who they are now as a football team. They are a power football team. They found there identity on offense and are now sticking to what they do best and it's really working for them. And that same power- physical attitude that the offense has embraced has began to carry over to the defense. SWO is playing defense like they used to play fast and physical. I know East Bladen has basically the same style but l'm going with SWO.
I am picking you guys to win, I don't see any way that you could possibly lose this game.
I wouldn't go that far. LOL. SWO isn't playing Friday by mistake. One of the more storied programs in our area.

i have seen a lot of great players over the years from a lot of great teams, but i have to say that Kendrick Burney put on the most impressive individual performances i have seen during that time. he is one of the few players i have seen that could literally get himself caught between multiple defenders, with seemingly no way out, and not only break out of the "pile" for yardage, but many times break for a TD! amazing running ability!
Goob. EB wasn't ranked that high. They won coin flip. There was a three way tie in their conference.
Dude east bladen bearly beat a sorry azz james kenan team add that with the fact were 5 - 0 vs them all time ..... easy win friday night jus watch .. they havent seen a team like swo all yr an please rember all are loses came to teams that are still playing an favored to win friday as well
We'he only lost one game dummy and that was South Columbus by 1 point and they are Reidsville tomorrow night as well. Defense will determine this game and who protects the ball.
