Yes.. it is Tarboro. Without a doubt. They will roll 1AA as long as they are in this division. They are 3-4 TDs better. Anybody that doubts that is drinking the Kool-Aid. No team can compete with the talent, coaching and talent level. It's an open season on teams that play them. They have a unreal level of talent pool. Very solid.

Tarboro is good no doubt, and if they play clean football I truly believe that they are the best team in 1A football.
However, I do think Tarboro commits way too many penalties and that could come back to haunt them as they get in to tougher match-ups in the later rounds of the playoffs.
It’s a long season, and I’m not ready to crown them champs. I think they have a good chance, but I still need to see some improvement.

No disrespect to the coach but anyone can coach a team when the players are better than anyone in their conference/1A division lol . You can take the coach with the worst record in NC and give him Tarboro and he looks like Bear Bryant lol. Now take that same coach from THS and make him coach at a winless no history 1a school and he goes winless the next couple years lol
BINGO!!! Send him to 1a Camden County and see just how well he fares with that train wreck. The Bruins have been outscored 264-7 in 5 games this year. Tarboro better not overlook Edenton this year,laugh if you want,but they have the talent and coaching staff to beat Tarboro. Don't let their loss to Northeastern fool you, the Eagles are as talented and loaded as any team in the state regardless of classification.
I agree that you must have athletes to be successful but Tarboro is more than one coach...it is a program. Part of the reason they have great athletes is they have a great feeder program in the middle schools and the coach’s set high expectations of the young men - both in the weight room and on the field. A half assed coach would not be able to produce championship teams even with great athletes.
So far as Holmes...I was at the Northeastern game...I am not worried about Tarboro losing to this team. That is not taking anything away from the players, coaches or fans. I have always been impressed by the Aces and I genuinely like the way they play. I have seen both and I feel confident the Vikings will take care of business.
I disagree. You have many high school teams in the state with talent that can't win because of coaching and you have have many teams with depleted talent that surprise you year after year because of good coaching. Talent in high school will fluctuate from year to year but the consistent winners have good coaches that can get all the players to buy in to what it takes for betterment of the program. Most sports events are won well before game day.
Now that's funny. Man you are high on them boys again this year. It was a few months ago you said they might not win their own conference LoL now they are one of the best teams in any classification LoL man your funny. NE will Have the same faith as last year. With all do respect we heard all this last year with what Holmes declared was a beast of a Running Back named K. Bailey and he didn’t score on Tarboro and they same noise coming out of Edenton this year. The same noise came out of Mt Airy last year who had a D1 Center, D1 Kicker, D2 Running Back and D2-D3 QB and not to mention a D1 WR. Tarboro uprooted them once they got going! So let’s stop all the nonsense noise until proven otherwise Tarboro is currently the favorite to come out of the 1AA East and looks to be setting up with a repeat match with Mt Airy who I think has gained a step or two since last year. I would still say Tarboro take it all this year just way to many weapons and defense is very dominate!
