Tarboro vs Corvian for the Ship

I think tarboro wins by a good margin , I’ll be surprised if they pit up huge numbers against corvian I’ll say vikes by 3 scores
I was but now that I seen Tarboro on film I think Tarb wins big. They just look that good. I do think Corvian is legit. Who knows its teenagers.

After the last two years, most Viking fans are gun shy on predictions. Lol but I can tell you, we are good with a 1 pt win or a running clock win. With that said, I do not see a running clock this time

I tried , I tried to set on the bench for this one, but coach called and TAGGED me in. I told you six weeks ago and you said i was just plain ole stupid. You said it couldn't be true, That the Charlotte speed was a pipe dream. You lined them up,, WE SAT THEM DOWN. Some of you are just hoping this other stepping stone trips us up. We HAVE PROVEN WE ARE THE QUICKEST AND MOST PHYSICAL team this western bracket has seen in the last 10 years. You say we recruit , look at the roster from a couple years back. With all due respect, you’re wrong. Mt. Airy team from last year would beat them by 3+ TDs along with the 2021 MA team and 2019 East Surry team. That is crazy for you to say. I love the confidence though man, that’s what it’s all about.

You want out run us , You want be as physical as us. We may walk the streets around Charlotte but we have walked through what was said the dynasty programs of the west. We strutted through randolph county , Strolled through mayberry ,and stomped our way through the mountains. Somebody said our bus got pulled over in burnsville last friday night. Said the team had to appear before a judge on saturday morning to make bond. They were charged with assault with SEVERAL deadly offensive and defensive weapons. To top it off they added speeding tickets to all the charges. The west was deep , the east was weak. One team deep. IT WILL SHOW ON SATURDAY.

They have played college ball and being from Ohio pretty good football played there. I'm sure they have seen the Havelock game where the hurry up offense gave Tarboro trouble.
Yeah everybody loves to go back and watch the Havelock game here's the problem, they ain't Havelock. Wilson prep and Martin County both referenced the Havelock game before playing Tarboro and both of them lost. The QB for Havelock lead the state in passing yards.

Not even close to Havelock. Thats where that comparison gets them in trouble.
Looked like the QB for Havelock was throwing it in tight coverage and his receivers were making plays. Corvian is definitely not Havelock but they could try the up tempo.
They also don’t have the 7 D1 prospects on their team either. Yall kill me thinking that BS! But anywho…LETS GO TARBORO!!!!
You keep making these comments about what the Corvian coaching staff is gonna do….do you not think the Tarboro coaches are watching film and finding weaknesses of Corvian?

Here's the thing... It wasn't the tempo per se that was the problem. Tarboro can play fast. It was Havelock being able to sub in college level talent to keep the tempo up without losing a step that was Tarboro's undoing. It was tired bodies vs fresh bodies. If Tarboro had as many top level athletes as Havelock did, the outcome may have been different. The first half was neck and neck. Unless Corvian has D1 talent on the sidelines to sub in when Tarboro gets tired, the up tempo won't matter. It would probably cause more mistakes for their own team than anything.
