Tarboro comes into this one 3-0 on the year against 3 5a schools. Swe comes in 2-0 with wins over Nash Central and Hertford county. In a rivalry game like this, it's never a easy win for either team. Expecting a packed house next Friday night at SWE. But I feel like Tarboro will take this one by one or two scores.

There have been years where we are WAY better than they are, and yet they make it game. We better buckle up, it'll be another dog fight next week. The cougars are feeling very confident as well.

Always a tough game at their place. We can't go over there feeling overconfident like we did two years ago. Swe punched Tarboro in the mouth in the first half. Tarboro did win but had to earn it. Can't afford to do it again. Knowing craddock and company, I doubt that happens.

Not sure SWE will be 2-0 when they play Tarboro. Word is they played an ineligible player first 2 weeks.

Yeah if it’s true (which I’ve heard from multiple people it is) it has nothing to do with this game. Only for potential playoff seeding. Cougars are 2-0 in my book.

No doubt and I’m sure that’s how the coaches are approaching this. I expect our Vikings to be fired up. Especially with the talk coming that they are going to shut Kam down

Tarboro has other running backs that can tote The Rock. Let them be focused on just Kam #1 for Tarboro pretty good to.

Excited that rivalry week is here. Many get their feathers ruffled during this week, but one has to expect a little smack to talk during this week. I expect the cougars and their fans to say they are going to beat the Vikings, that’s what they are supposed to say. Most of the talk is in good fun! I’m looking forward to the game, and it’s no need to get to out of shape over anything we hear this week, remember, it’s a rivalry ;)

Having 2 extra losses, and two losses to low rated teams, would be terrible for SWE. The seeding would have us potentially meeting East Duplin or West Craven early, which is something we can't afford if we want to make a run. Those are the two teams in the east that I'm worried about. Might throw Eastern Wayne in there too. And who knows what side Reidsville will fall on. I'm sure Hertford County and Nash Central would love to have those forfeit wins. Especially HC. 3-0 looks better than 2-1. But no, we can't afford any forfeits.

Agree, it would be terrible for the cougars. Hopefully that’s not the case

2011 was a perfect example. Not many gave swe a chance to win and it wound up being a barn burner. Always throw records out the window for this game.

Alrighty Cougar faithful, what are you guys expecting for tomorrow's jv game? How has the JV looked so far this year? We have been really high on ours, and looking forward to seeing this young group grow over the years.

I expect our JV will take care of business here. Beating that Havelock JV team was a huge win and I don't see any team left that comes close to Havelock.
