I hate teams that don’t share stats. No reason at all SWE shouldn’t share stats it only hurts the kids… I know that was random lol
If SWE keeps this current group of juniors together going into next year, they could have a very good team in '26.

I thought by now he would had got it; LOL I tell him every week and even Coach Jeff told him last time we were down there to quit picking against the Vikings. He will learn one day that why I say every week the Tarboro we will leave the light on for you after we beat you.
I hate it. We used to post stats, but when this head coach got promoted from OC at Rocky Mount High School to head coach at SWE, he changed all that. Says he doesn't want his players to be focused on stats. His former head coach at RM posts stats, so he didn't get it from there. I think it's a little selfish towards the athletes.

Game day! I remember back in 2023 when these seniors were just sophomores playing JV and Southwest beat Tarboro — a lot of folks circled this game as the one where the Cougars might finally break through against Tarboro.

It could be. Witn streamed the New Bern Havelock game a couple weeks ago. It wasn’t on the main channel - I had to go to the website

That surprised me to honestly. It'd shock me if Tarboro won by that much. He had us winning a somewhat close game against Havelock. I guess Tarboro winning that game the margin they did, swayed his opinion. Granted Havelock doesn't have the offense from last year, but the defense is good

Since he uses mathematical formulas for his ratings and predictions, I'm assuming the "loss" SWE now has to Nash Central weighed heavily on the numbers.
That's possible. I'm a realist though, like a previous Tarboro poster stated SWE always plays Tarboro close. It's rare Tarboro wins in a outright blowout.
The Tarboro folks definitely don't have anywhere to sit on the other side anymore. Granted, our visitor stands are entirely too small, but the band and color guards literally have half the bleachers ropes off. I'm counting maybe 20 students taking up half the bleachers. Not a good call, imo. I've already spoken to several Tarboro guys that are forced to sit on our side.
Yeah, if they take up half the stands with the band, some folks gonna have to improve their plot in life and sit on our side
