Tarboro vs West Montgomery

Speed kills. I hope Tarboro has their running shoes on and laced up tight. They're going to in a sprint all night.
From mid Season on West has been playing at Their top form. I don’t know much about Tarboro but this is a very good West Montgomery Team
From the beginning of the season, Tarboro has been considered the favorite to win the 1AA title, and the results on the field has certainly not changed anyone's mind in regards to that....West Montgomery on the other hand started the season great, but the loss to North Stanly seemed to garner them a lot of disrespect which I think the team has capitalized on since that time, and have regrouped as a unit with a bigger than normal chip on their shoulder that they have carried since that midseason loss to the Comets....Sending the Warriors to the East, where nobody knows anything about them, may have been a blessing in disguise because many Easterners felt and still do that it doesn't matter who you put in front of Tarboro because the Vikings will just roll over them like a tank over a pumpkin....This possible 3rd round matchup was one that folks pointed to from the outset, and now it is upon us, but still no one seemingly with the exception of the West Montgomery locker room gives the Warriors much of a chance against the Vikings....The Warriors are no strangers to football practice after Thanksgiving, and neither are the Vikings, and that is why this matchup is like a tasty side dish after the main course has been served....I don't profess to know what will happen in this game, but a win over Tarboro on their home field would be a monumental mountain to climb for most teams, and West Montgomery in many Easterners and Westerners eyes is the young mountain climber who has been told by the experienced climbers that he should just lag behind, and carry the baggage....It will be interesting to see how the Warriors respond to the challenge of facing what many believe is the top 1A team in the state this year, and whether or not they can plant their flag at the top of that mountain in spite of what most people think, or believe?....

No I haven't.I only know how strong tarboro was last year. They look better this year. Price called the dogs off last year against WM.
Got nothing to do with what I feel, it's u know nothing about 2017 WM football. Let them kids decide that, no need for a poster to that knows nothing about them. Of course it's gonna be an uphill battle for the Warriors, but the Warriors have nothing to lose we're not the ones they have already crowned Champs.
WM2004, I think the guy was just answering the question. I've seen WM play this year and they certainly didn't seem like much of a passing team. Now they do have some nice wideouts including one that made a TD catch that wasn't counted in the loss to EM. And yes, he was in bounds, the ref missed it. Myself and others were literally right there on the sidelines at it. But if WM has to pass a lot against Tarboro, they will be in trouble, imo. They are going to have to be able to run the football.
When we played EM our best WR wasn't playing and yes of course we are not a passing team but if need be Horne can toss the rock. I agree we must be able to run the ball and Horne will need to make plays with his legs. He is an exceptional athlete with speed. Our to RB's are studs, one thing that hurts us is depth. These guys go both ways because of numbers. Just glad we are in 3rd round representing the YVC.
WRH smacked Tarboro around like a bully on a playground, very lucky they moved up. East is a 3 team league this year, which is sad :-/. Keep hearing all this talk about Tarboro being the anointed one, anointed to be the best thing in 1a since sliced bread, well all those other 2a gods came down and got smacked around for a few years to. That mountain football aint as easy as those speed demons down east think it is. If Murphy or Mt Airy either one plays in the ship i guareentee you it will be a far fetch from a blowout .
Also I’m not seeing where anyone is saying Tarboro is the “best thing since sliced bread” - everything that I’ve read has suggested that Tarboro is overrated and hasn’t played anybody, and that the football out west is far superior to Eastern football.

Guess you forgot they led us at halftime,even after a defensive td from a forced pitch to our player in first quarter. Not saying they were better. Just saying this year they are the class of 1aa.
We should know since you've said the same thing about 5 times now. We get it, Tarboro is loaded with talent and are the overwhelming favorite to win the 1AA title this season, but they are not unbeatable and they will get a game in the state finals.
Thanks. Them boys have had a great year considering all the change they've went through. Many of them have played in big games so they will not be intimidated. Either way it goes they will fight. WM football has maybe one or two years at most left before consolidation, pride is the drive.
