Great news...can't have an elite defense wout elite corners. Here's to tee shutting it down.

Tee seems like a quality young man. I'm excited for him to join the Bulldogs. I hope he can get his grades straight and navigate the balance of being a student athlete. Hopefully, he'll be successful on and off the field.

They could have went to a school where they were one of the highest rated recruits with a virtual lock on a starting job in two years…or…they could take a chance that they are better than their ratings, make a decision to work hard and fight for a dream to start in the SEC. These kids have choices. I am glad they chose Maroon.

Tee was a LEGITIMATE 5* out of high school and the reason he didn't resign with ND or anyone else upper tier this time is NO ONE thought he'd qualify. We take chances on these guys, they don't.

JT had his pick of Big 12 and west coast schools. Picked us anyway.

Two solid gets and a stretch. How every signing class should go in my opinion.

For JT Gray, it was a CUSA school or Iowa State or Arizona or Arizona State or Cal or Cinci or Ole Miss or Oregon or Oregon State or Utah or Washington. Maybe my sarcasm meter is off.

Is it possible that

Shepherd (who was highly recruited out of HS) was not highly recruited due to his scholastic standing, currently?

Gray was apparently offered by USC, Washington, and a few other PAC12 schools...so yeah there's that.

But was he offered by UAB, Troy, MTSU, or Miss. Southern? Those are the offers worth mentioning, here.**

Exactly on JT. Until this year, he was living in Arizona and had offers all over the PAC-12. Townsend was on him while JT was still in Arizona and once he moved back he stayed on him. He is a good pick up and should remind people of a Charles Mitchell type of safety with more speed (if and once he completely develops).
