Televised Finals - What Is A Sinclair?

I’m visiting family in Florida. They have Spectrum cable. I saw a commercial about their coverage of the high school football playoffs and the state championship games.

Why not in NC? What is this outfit named Sinclair that is covering the finals? Good grief, they don’t even have stations in Charlotte. Is their even going to be any kind of TV coverage in Charlotte?

A little ridiculous in my opinion.

The NCHSAA Football State Championships are scheduled for Saturday, December 9 and Basketball Championships are slated for Saturday, March 10. A listing of game times and stations will be available on the NCHSAA Website the week prior to the Championships.

Sinclair is a “Trump TV” propaganda stations. So unless someone is kneeling they won’t show high school football

Spectrum terminated the agreement that TWC had with the NCHSAA when they acquired TWC earlier this year.

Sinclair owns stations in Asheville, Greensboro and Raleigh.

yes, Sinclair are nothing stations, If you try to get some news off them, you get basically nothing. The one in Raleigh tries to do high school football, but the coverage isn't worth picking up your remote to turn it to the station.
They were on the Middle Creek bandwagon last year and on Heritages this year. The players and coaches tweeted the news coverage.
