I do have a crazy *** story about a freak online and know that the interwebs gives them a platform for their insanity.
There was some girl, we all assumed was a dude, that would contact me and a bunch of guys I knew loosely through AOL instant messenger. She would start off pretty innocently and the next thing you know she would be asking you about your socks. No ****. Tons of questions about them. This would go on as long as you allowed it and it would turn pornographic. I always cut it off immediately and then blocked her. She would change screen names and contact again.
I was telling a buddy about it and he said he had her contact him too. We started asking around and found around 20 or so guys we knew who had the same thing happen.
A few years after undergrad I saw some old friends in New Orleans and the subject came up and we were laughing about it. A guy was there who went to Bama and he said that the same **** happened to him and a number of guys he knew in undergrad. He was calling his buddies about before the night was over and we were all trying to figure out who if could be when considering common connections. We had nothing.
Three years ago when I had a facebook account some girl with a profile pic taken at a distance where her face was not easily recognizable friend requested me. I looked at her friend list and knew a bunch of people from college, both male and female. I figured I had just forgotten this person so I accepted the request. Two days later on instant message through facebook she starts asking me about my socks!! I couldn't believe it. Most of the guys I knew on her friend list were people who had been contacted from her in college. I of course deleted the friend connection and at least once every month or so a new request would come in and now they would have questions about my socks in the email request.
This damn weirdo has been asking dudes about their socks for over a decade.
And that is the legend of Sock Girl.

He's become the Milli Vanilli of football. He'll have some questions to answer to his Bishop when he tries to get a Temple Recommend. I will to for the colorful metaphors I use every once in awhile. <O
