Can't help it but I'm extremely worried about tonight's game. Back in the day when I was very successful betting college basketball games, this is the type of game I would load up on. Coming off of two highly emotional and important games versus a team with talent and excellent coach......color me worried.

Hope Huggs has the team focused and we play their big guys physical.

I know what you mean. Kansas lost again, OU loses game after us...seems like all the league's big dogs are losing after the fireworks last week. I hope we don't blow it.

Yes, that OU loss was classic as it pertains to the point I am making. In my view, this game is the most important game of the year in terms of telling us what type of team we really are.

I'm more worried about the game Saturday than I am the one tonight, but I can see where a complete and total breakdown (like the UVA game) could occur.

We win home games - period. That is going to be the tune in this conference this year.

So much for that. It's one thing to lose on a last second shot against a top 5 team on the road, but you just can't waste all the momentum of the past week by sh*tting the bed against a middle of the pack team at home.

This is why there are no automatic wins. It is a loss in a long season. Not the first time ever and it won't be the last. As I alluded to before the game, I've witnessed this before many times and so has every other fan. College teams are very able to lay eggs immmediately following a very emotional part of their schedule. All this shows is unless we are very focus and outwork the other team while keeping mistakes to a minimum, we can be beaten. I'm over the loss but I'm quite pissed about the ridiculous foul shooting.

You called that one. We always, always, always seem to **** up when we are the favorite over a good program after we have had a big win or have gone up in the rankings. It's completely mental. It's a comfort zone thing. We flat out aren't comfortable as the favorite. We lose our edge. Long way to go. I remember when we stunk it up against UConn in our Final 4 year and Huggs basically called them out. we turned the corner after that game. Hopefully they learn and come prepared every night the rest of the way. **** happens in BB though. Any given night....Gotta be ready to play.

If you cannot win home games in this conference, you are going to have a hell of a long year. The hell of it is, that they have the big boy coming back at tourney time. And it is difficult to be honest and complain of an off game. Texas also had a poor game and countered everything we did. Cannot be seen as anything short of a total game *** kicking. I think we only had 1 time that we had back to back success on two trips down the floor. Tex was not a hell of a lot more successful. As well as I remember, #3 wore us out the last time we played too.

I fell asleep immediately after the game and got up after 9 AM this morning, and worn totally out. Cannot take another game like that and turn my TV on for another. Just physically drained.
