I think that Reynolds looks just fine. Consider the age. We all age. Yeah, he's there just to help sell the rebadged Camaro. It's nice. Not sure it's worth whatever for a custom nose, t-tops and that logo, but I'm sure there are a lot of middle age whities that will eat this up.

Yeah, you're right. He has outlived his runnin' buddies. I first remember him as Newly (sp) on Gunsmoke.

Most likely all 77 are sold.

A couple comments on this thread so far. Burt looks thin and I'm sure all the mileage and pain killer addiction took its toll, but I doubt I make 80 so he already has me beat there. He seems frail, but is still a classy guy.

The car has 840 horsepower, my god, I bet the tires smoke in 4 gears if you aren't careful.

These 77 cars will sell for $115,000 and will no doubt be purchased by collectors who will garage them and be disappointed 20 years from now when a low mileage Bandit Trans Am sells for $30K at Mecum (like 1976 Eldorado convertibles people thought would be highly valuable some day, but aren't). As for the $70,000 non-Bandit model, I ride the SoCal freeways every day and the people driving the new hot Camaros, Mustangs, etc. are young guys of all races. Us old guys (of all races) are buying the real McCoys from the 60s and 70s.

A nurse told my Grandma that he is glad he isn't as old as her.
My Grandma told him that she was once his age, and already lived through that.
Then she told him that you never when you will go.
She said you can die tommorow, or you can die today if don't stop being a uppity littlebitch.

I don't know. I drive my 2011 Camaro RS 2LT convertible around and I'm certainly not young. Of course, I also have the 1968 AMX when I really want to lay rubber (get your mind out of the gutter!).

If I remember correctly, I believe Burt was Chester on Gunsmoke. This was pre Festus and pre Newly. I believe Buck Taylor was Newly.

Grumpy, I stand corrected, Buck Taylor was Newly.
Burt was a character named Quint Asper ('62 / '65).

Now, I'd like to watch all the re-runs! :)

Car looks & sounds grrrreat, Burt, not so much.

I will keep my 2001 WS-6 Trans Am. This pic is a few years old, but it still looks the same. Me, not so much.
