A couple comments on this thread so far. Burt looks thin and I'm sure all the mileage and pain killer addiction took its toll, but I doubt I make 80 so he already has me beat there. He seems frail, but is still a classy guy.
The car has 840 horsepower, my god, I bet the tires smoke in 4 gears if you aren't careful.
These 77 cars will sell for $115,000 and will no doubt be purchased by collectors who will garage them and be disappointed 20 years from now when a low mileage Bandit Trans Am sells for $30K at Mecum (like 1976 Eldorado convertibles people thought would be highly valuable some day, but aren't). As for the $70,000 non-Bandit model, I ride the SoCal freeways every day and the people driving the new hot Camaros, Mustangs, etc. are young guys of all races. Us old guys (of all races) are buying the real McCoys from the 60s and 70s.
