But he got over the century mark in the second half, alone. He was making effort plays to extend the drive and move the chains. Perkins doesn't give us that unless we throw screens to him.
He's our best back hands down this year. He was on a slightly higher level this game though; I felt really confident in handing off for the first time in a while.
Im sure DAN didnt see it, cuz his head is always up his own Arse!!!! 100% J.Rob is the best Tailback on the team. Glad Shump got some touches so he doesnt transfer.
Perkins is a good receiving RB, but his running is and was never there. All his big runs are a result of huge holes. I constantly see him miss holes to run to the outside. Good hands, but Robinson is Jones-Drew 2.0 (His favorite player of all time) If he models after him, I'll be super happy.
It was blatantly obvious today. Jrob made about 10 plays perk just can't make. Particularly the 3rd and 1 or 2 conversion. the only reason he played was injury. he won't play Thursday if perk is healthy, it's a shame.
And we would have lost if not for his running game. I like perk and he gave his all to score when he got hurt, but there is no comparison tween the two. Jrob could tear ole miss a new one.
Bulldogs played their hearts out today. Milton's fumble before half was frustrating but Jrob and Shump formed a good tandem. We left about 10 points on the field and the injuries continue to mount, but I'm applauding the effort.
I was across the field in section 9 and didn't realize how hard Perk got hit on that TD. It's 46 seconds into highlight reel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qrdG1Sc8Cg
We left a lot more than 10 points on the field. Missed chip shot FG when we should have scored a TD, Milton's fumble at the 1, missed FG at the end of the game when we had 1st and 10 inside the 20.
