I would love that!!! Could maybe get some recruiting in Wisconsin as well.I actually think Jim Leonard could be a real possibility here.

I wouldn't mind seeing Holgorsen go. That would have sounded ridiculous last year, but he has been a disappointment this year.Hopefully today is about defense and tomorrow is about offense. Donavan has got to be the next one to get his pink slip
I know you're being sarcastic, but the minute assts start getting canned...you know the HC is feeling pressure and needs a scapegoat(s).I actually think Jim Leonard could be a real possibility here.
Check out his second stint at LSU.Bo Pelini was a very good defensive coach. Did a great job down in LSU.

I have been hugely disappointed too with Dana, but with the rumors that he’s be forced to incorporate some of Satts ********, I will at least give him a tiny bit of leniency. I mean, what we run now doesn’t look like what DH has run the prior 15 years so there could be some truth to the rumor. If so, Rhule should STFU and let the OC do what they want, however they want to move the ball is on them.I wouldn't mind seeing Holgorsen go. That would have sounded ridiculous last year, but he has been a disappointment this year.
Does that mean he will always be bad? I don't think so.His first stint at LSU was good. His 2nd stint there was atrocious and he got fired after one year, it was so bad that he hasn't gotten hired to coach football anywhere in the 5 years since then.
What's your point? Are you suggesting that Rhule should hire him as DC?Does that mean he will always be bad? I don't think so.
First thought was Wilcox as well. Not sure you need to overpay him as he’s sitting on buyout funds. It would be a chance to get back to the B1G as a DC.A serious program would throw a bag at Stoops, Durkin, or Wilcox. But I fully expect Rhule to hire Phil Snow.

Cool, fire the whole defensive staff thenThe thing is, no big-time DC is going to come in if his staff is entirely made up of holdovers.
See ya John. Appreciate your service.Offense national rank - 79th.
Defense national rank - 23rd.
The star players are all on the offense - Raiola and Johnson (arguably the most talented in each position in a decade). Star players on the defense? Both lines were weak.
Was the wrong coordinator fired?
Defensive ranking is overinflated because teams didn't need to pass on us to win.Offense national rank - 79th.

I’m not being that sarcastic. HCMR has gone after Leonard before.I know you're being sarcastic, but the minute assts start getting canned...you know the HC is feeling pressure and needs a scapegoat(s).
The question is did the AD put pressure on MR on his own or at the suggestion/demand of boosters?
Then the obvious question, can he hire someone decent if there's the vibe that the HC himself is on thin ice?
I'm sure coaches don't like upsetting their family lives(kids in school) for a 1-2 year gig?
yuckI don’t think he leaves Iowa… But speaking of Phil… Phil Snow is probably gonna get this job. I’m not sure how I feel about that.
Yeah, keep going......that's a good start.
I want Dand fired too!Offense national rank - 79th.
Defense national rank - 23rd.

I will ragequit this team if its another internal hire.If Snow get the DC position. That would be the ultimate disappointment. And another Rhule failure. So wouldn’t surprise me
great thought. He supposedly has had many big time offers and has turned them down because he like where he is at.Hate to suggest it but go throw alot of cash to get Phil Parker from Iowa.
I don't.I want Dand fired too!
Okay that's a fair point!I don't.
Mark Whipple
Marcus Satterfield
Glenn Thomas
Dana Holgorsen
Arguably 3 of those coaches had great success at one point, but all look terrible at Nebraska. What's the common factor? All of them being dealt the hand of Donovan Raiola's OL coaching genius.
If I see him paired with an even average OL and the offense still looks terrible I will agree he needs to go.Okay that's a fair point!
