If we have State fans who are subscribers they really need to cancel. In the wake of their financial struggles, the CL have developed a new plan of attack and its one that doesn't favor us. I wrote for the Clarion Ledger for 3 years before changing job fields and I still know a lot of people in that environment so I'm privy to a lot of info. Unfortunately, they are being influenced by only a few people at the top who see an opportunity to cater to one fanbase and raise funds through they're approval. If you want an example, look no further than today's paper regarding our two universities.

I always laughed at the people who thought the paper was slanted to one school. But those days were different. You've had a mass exodus of the qualified and experienced writers all across the industry, which has affected the quality of writing and required certain news outlets (newspapers) to try different methods to keep the corporate lights on.
