That elephant could squeeze in beside the other elephant that's sitting on a bucket.

These eight hitters were in the starting lineup in four out of 30 SEC games:
  • Powell
  • Hujsak
  • Hines
  • Jordan
  • Chance
  • Kohler
  • Larry
  • Mershon
I think this lineup is going to be effective in a regional.

Maddox was dealing last night. I wouldn't over analyze last night. State hit the ball well when the lefty came in.

However, ..... I would drop DJ down the order, 6th or 7.

I know it is sps cool to talk about Lemonis sitting on a bucket but when is the last time anyone has seen him on a bucket? I could be wrong, and I probably am wrong, but I don't remember it for several years.

I only noticed it once: a road sweep of Bama in 2021. I assume it happened more than once, but I never see it.

To be fair he used to keep the bucket warm but I can't remember sitting on it for years. People back then used to say he didn't argue calls enough and if remember correctly it was in that Bama series that we had a bad call go against us. He came out of the dugout and dropped multiple f bombs and it still wasn't enough. I don't what else he could have done. Some people will never be satisfied.

We can see in the dugout from our seats, and you are correct. The bucket has been gone for a while.

I got a feeling just the way we won last night. bottom 9th 2 outs 2 run hr walk off... Go ahead and mark it SEC tourney champions. Usually, championship teams overcome something along the way to ignite them to win it all. Last night was what champions are made of.. But also, I have seen our relief pitching and baserunning this year too.

We swung at a ton of pitches nowhere near the zone. That wasn't the pitcher.
