Thank goodness Hofstra’s pitchers couldn’t throw strikes and their catcher couldn’t catch the ball.

To those of you who thought New York baseball is some kind of joke, get a hold of yourselves. They play baseball up there. They are a decent team. We might have entered the game a little tight, too. I think we will be ok as the season progresses.

They were 18-36 last year and last in something called the Coastal Athletic Conference and got swept by Tennessee by a combined score of 46-2.
