Aha! A role reversal. Maybe, my Raiders will have a cramp or two chasing the “itty bitty” cramping ponies.
Keys to the game for Crest will be their ability to run the ball. If Crest can run the ball it will really put SP in a predicament defensively. If RB or QB is running ball effectively than SP will be in big trouble. 2nd is no turnovers. I fully expect SP to play a mixture of zone coverages that it will try to disguise pre-snap. Some of these coverages can lead to int’s.
Keys to the game for South Point is to take away the run and make Crest one dimensional offensively. SP will give up some plays defensively in the passing game but SP cannot allow Crest to do both. Offensively SP will need to burn clock and not turn it over. SP must score touchdowns on the end of long drives.
The battle of the turnovers will decide the winner of this game. I can see this game going either way.

#6 will require a double-team all night long. That's just how it is. Left 1 on 1 with a corner and he's running for days and if our line blocks just a little then bombs away. There has to be a safety over the top at all times. Then you take your chances with the rest of the receiving core.

Crest hasn't stopped the run all year. They just haven't. That's not good. Especially against this bunch. They have a big offensive line too. If SP goes on those drives and scores tuddy's and we only get the ball a handful of times then we'll be home by 9:15 ran through like a newborns diaper.

I say 35 to 28 either way. I'll miss this game. Thursdays are not good for me because of work. It takes me 50 mins. to get to Belmont from where I live. GO BIG RED!!!
We have a few big d lineman, 60 is our best d lineman. We have several high motor guys that just don't stop on the d line.
Takes me 50 minutes too. I get up @ 4am Monday - Friday. I'll be in Belmont tonight if I'm breathing. You know why? It's Charger Time.

south point also scored relatiely long pass play 43 seconds left in half..
cant ever count this charger crowd out, they can put points up in a hurry in the second half most weeks..... But they better figure something out....

Worst call of the season seals the deal. South point outplayed us, but they didn't need any help.
credit to SP coaches they rushed 3 and 4 and kept constant pressure on Huskey ... That QB and FB are monsters behind the gigantic offensive line...

South Point keeps that tandem in the backfield healthy they will be hard to deal with, but I do think they need more production out of the wingbacks... I will say this those wings and the split ends block extremely well on the perimeter
55 is a beast on the Crest D line.... and 33 for SP is a straight up Mauler...
Congrats to the Raiders, and like rulz said weeks ago, if you're gonna get Crest you better this season cause they will be hard to deal with next year.....

Dude, 54 of Crest was putting shackles on our DL all night. Only one holding call called and it wasn’t even on him. There is also no face guarding rule in HS football and that call doesn’t make up 3 TDs.

I never said that it did. I said south point outplayed us and deserved to win. Our defense had no answeres, but the call that wasn't called ended any hope crest had and sealed the game. It was a blatant and obvious PI to anyone watching. Good luck to you the rest of the way.
SP showed tonight that they are legit. Best all around game they have played all year with the offense and defense firing on all cylinders. Bottom line was that Crest simply could not stop the Red Raider running game. When they put all their players at the line, they got burned for a 40+ yd passing td. If SP can play another game like that next week, they have a real shot at the Mountaineers. I like our chances.
Based on what I've seen, with no disrespect towards Kings mountain or South point, East Lincoln is as good as either one of those programs. We got good football coming up.
I went to see my son in Huntersville and rode by your place ....looked like a packed house. Who did you play and the score ?
I have heard good things about the freshman Quarterback at South Point is he a bigger kid or tall kid what makes him so good. I haven’t seen him play.
He’s just an athlete. Phenomenal baseball player and thus far is playing very smart for us.
That big oline for SP is the truth. Then you add a FB and a FB playing QB...watch out.
