I understand the notion of lesser of two evils (believe me, I do), I just don't see how Donald Trump's GOP is the lesser if two evils. As I've said in discussion with others, I can't see past his words and truly his actions are not any better.

I have never see in my life (we're close in age, by the way) a President who flat let's it be known he doesn't care about a large portion of his constituency (the majority if you go by approval ratings, 2016's popular vote and 2018's mid-term elections).

Trump's words don't exist in a vacuum. They have impact, they just don't seem to have impact to many of those who they're not aimed at.

As far as actions being good, the market has continued the upward trajectory it was on when he took office. I have no complaints about it. The percentage growth from when Obama took office to when he left office is greater, however, than from the time Trump took office to now.

Obama's administration created more jobs in its last three years than Trump's did in its first three years.

Congrats to the Trump administration on Black unemployment rate prior to the pandemic. Much like the market, he just continued in the same direction.

His handling of the pandemic has been a disaster, and has shown his words have impact.

His rejection of data and science is dangerous. There's really no other way to say that. I would argue it is dangerous to have the leader of any major operation be the type of person who seems to reject any statistical analysis that tells him something he doesn't want to hear.

I feel the impact he has had on the political discourse in this country may irreparable. I feel he has set race relations back, but hopefully that can be repaired.

exactly the economy and the stock market has been in the same great trajectory through Obama and until before the pandemic.....do yall remember where unemployment and the stock market was in 2008????...i dont believe there has been one debt ceiling stand off, threatening the US credit rating/standing......no disparaging the jobs numbers or any of that craziness under Obama.....everything was thwarted like it was sport....

The media protects Biden, and any democrats for that matter. When they show clips of him on stations other than Fox, you can see the tv person cringing, or have this weird look on their face. But, they won’t say what’s painfully obvious, for fear of losing their job.
It’s the same on this board. The Trump fans do criticize Trump, we just look past some of his antics, and see what he’s really doing. Not you guys though. Y’all have been brainwashed so bad by the other stations, you think we’re lying.
I promise you we aren’t. Even Ipsy sees it.

the problem is the things you look past are his dog whistles to white supremacists, his sloppiness when it comes to classified information, his looting of the military budget to build the wall he said Mexico would pay for, the way he makes money off the government by requiring the secret service to stay in his hotels and pay full freight, and his and his family's constant refusal to abide by ethical norms. I could go on but these are the ones that are pretty well documented. That is not being brainwashed. It is listening to the things that he and his administration say, and, given that he is constantly tweeting, some of this comes straight from his mouth/phone. I have raised the racism before and people on this board have just swatted that away, but it has become more dangerous for Jews for instance in this country, in large part because he has made anti-semitism great again.

How exactly is that a "non-essential" success?

To be clear, I’m all for whatever makes the gays happy. It’s their life, and it’s not hurting anybody, so if they want to get married cool! I’m just saying though damn!!!! What else you got?? 😂

Explain how it’s essential, I’ll wait
Because not allowing people who love each other to get married is wrong. It's estimated that about 4.5 of the population is LGBT, that roughly translates to 12.8 million people. That's whole lot of Americans being told they could not get married simply because they were well, LGBT. So yeah, pretty ******* essential to those people I'd say.

I mean honestly, just stop for a second and think. What if, the shoe was on the other foot and you were told that you could only get married if you took a husband instead of a wife? That people would discriminate and treat you less than human because you, a male, wanted a wife.

It didn't just allow gays the basic human right to marriage, it helped elevate them to same level as we straight people in the eyes of the public. It humanized them, when the religious right had spent centuries doing the exact opposite.

That’s a lot of swing votes...it’s still not essential

Two more days. A few scenarios: Trump wins, which is the only choice for the betterment of ALL citizens, but short term, thugs riot, people are hurt/killed, and property is destroyed. Or, Sleepy Joe wins, and the Trump voters are not happy, with good reason, but life goes on.
Those on the left though aren’t smart enough to see the truth. It’s not all their fault, the media is so crooked, many believe their lies and garbage.

It’s this simple, and it’s the truth. Businesses are boarding up, not because of Trump supporters.
Posters like shatter, crest, Durham, and Dude aren’t drinking the kool aid, they’re swimming in it.

Oh yes. I love enjoy swimming in the Kool Aid of reality where roughly 40% of Americans support a fascist fuckwad and his Patriotic (read: Nationalistic) party. Such bliss!!

In all seriousness #MyPresident

Time to restore basic human decency and respect to the White House.
Why are businesses boarding up in major cities? Who do you think they believe are going to be rooting after the election?

It’s not going to be Trump supporters. Who’s that leave? I know you’re not smart enough to think for yourself, so let me know if you need help answering that question.

Considering your question doesn't make a lick of sense, yeah maybe fill in the blanks.

Businesses are boarding up for the aftermath of the election because they know if Trump wins, the intolerant idiot liberals will riot and burn down/destroy cities.

Yup because that's liberals do when we don't get our way right? We loot and riot and kill poor, well-to-do, white, Republican men and women and don't even get me started on baby eating Satanic after parties. And when we're done looting, rioting, pillaging, raping, and murdering, we try to make everyone gay marry a black abortion doctor on welfare!! The horror!! The outrage!! Oh dear Jesus why have you abandoned your people?! The righteous, white, racist, rich, and above all WHITE people who serve oh dear Lord save our souls!

I honestly think you’re dumb enough to believe this. After all, you did tell us a little bit about yourself which leads me to believe you’re not smart enough to be able to think for yourself.

Jesus. If they're this triggered today, wait till Tuesday night/Wednesday morning.

Most liberals won't be violent. In fact, they'll be mOstLy pEaCeFuL. But it will be liberals who are violent. Not only liberals. But mostly liberals. I see it mostly being a lot of screaming to the sky and comfort circles.

We must have forgotten about the days following the last election. Anyone who doesn't think it will be even worse this time is kidding themselves.

Nothing we say will change liberals minds. They’ve been institutionalized. Been told from an early age, or when they went off to college, that Fox is bad news, conservatives are racist, rich people are the enemy......
Trump won in 16, because of liberal thinking, and the media. Fox isn’t as good as it used to be either, but this is deeper than just our media. Gingrich was silenced not long ago on the show Out Numbered, for bringing up George Soros, and how evil he is. All Gingrich did was factually explain who he sends a lot of his money to.
A few years ago, I didn’t realize how dirty and corrupt our leaders are. You think you do, but once Trump won, he has exposed just how rotten they all are. The more they talk, the more Trump talks. It’s like a big pissing match.
Vote for Trump to keep Capitalism. Vote for Biden if you don’t.
