Gate open, not open, doesn’t matter. I still believe they broke the gate. The point is they came onto private property and were not invited. Do you know why a lock is on a door? It’s to keep an honest person out. Period. A thief will break in, an honest person won’t. That is it. These protesters are pathetic people.
You’re trying to justify bad behavior and placing blame onto the homeowners. That’s not even being incompetent. For you and others to believe what you do? You guys are a disgrace.
I realize that I have contributed to this but I am going to suggest we all take the rhetoric down a notch. I would imagine that my calling you names does not convince you that I am right and you doing the same does not move me. We should be able to have a calm, facts based discussion and be able to agree to disagree.

Fair enough. It’s frustrating though that you guys defend some of these people, and their actions, and post things from media that is so untrue. The St Louis couple were ramrodded, yet somehow this gets turned onto them. Y’all refuse to see that protestors came onto their property. What is so hard about doing the right thing? What if that was you and your property?

I also really question if you all want to really find the truth, no matter the outcome.

If the left would just say, 'we know it was rigged, but good luck proving it.' I would at least have respect for them. But they are going with the "no evidence of fraud" angle.

you sure are full of a lot of name calling....just watch the video...i havent paced any blame on the homeowners...they have every right to defend their property if being trespassed on, but not what they were doing just because a protest group was walking by

Arsenio Hall...things that make you go "hmmm"...
Excellent article! Biden winning vs the numbers from past elections just doesn’t add up. It’s just too coincidental that he won Wisconsin, GA, PA, and Michigan and they quit counting votes before midnight. He loses Ohio and Florida and the Republicans flip the House. There’s no way in hell that Biden got more votes than any one in history. Trump gains millions of votes from 2016 and out performed Joe in the primaries and still loses. Smh

I will not watch any video you provide that tries to place blame onto the homeowners. It isn't true. The truth is the protestors walked from public property to private property. You say they didn't break the gate. I say what you've watched and been told is a lie. They committed a crime, and the homeowners did what any sane people should and would do. The minute they left the public sidewalk and crossed through the gate, they were breaking the law.

I'm not trying to be mean here, but do you really want the truth, or are you more entrenched in defending your party? Our media is nothing but corrupt. Our politicians are nothing but corrupt. Not all, but way too many. I wish you would consider that. They intentionally play us against each other, defending our party, while they profit, and profit big time.

The crowd wasn't just walking by. They entered a private community to bring their protest to the burbs. They were screaming at the homeowners and harassing them long enough for them to go and get their guns. The group later lied and had the media's help spreading their lies when they claimed that they were peacefully marching to the mayor's house. The mayor doesn't live in that neighborhood. In the video, the gate is unlocked and not broken. Someone in the group vandalized it, but it wasn't broken on entry.

IMO, the bigger story is how ridiculously dumb both of them looked holding their guns.

didnt say at all that the protesters didnt break the gate....but there were documented issues that lead to the gate being in ill-repair that access was made.....and this situation has nothing to do with politics....i just said watch the video...it also covers the same info pretty much that AA posted......with all the people that came through that entrance yes....someone had their way with it, but initial video shows an upright gate when the first protesters began to come through...

Is the question was the gate damaged or not really the point? No offense, but the point is being missed. They shouldn't have walked through and started causing trouble. That's the issue. Why won't you just admit the obvious?

There’s no way in hell that Biden got more votes than any one in history. Trump gains millions of votes from 2016 and out performed Joe in the primaries and still loses. Smh

When you actually look into the numbers and analyze, you can't say the amount of votes Biden received is evidence of fraud and/ballot tampering, unless you're willing to say there was also fraud and/or ballot tampering on behalf of Donald Trump.

If you find proof of fraud in Joe Biden receiving more votes than Barack Obama (as highlighted in the Federalist piece) how do you rationalize Donald Trump securing 19 million more votes than Ronald Reagan in 1984? How do you explain Trump securing multiple millions of votes more in Texas than either President Bush?

Easy. You explain both their counts by acknowledging that more people voted. This is not a surprise to anyone. In late October, Nate Silver, who has made quite a bit of money doing this type of analysis, projected the 2020 turnout to be in excess of 145 million. He projected that Trump had virtually no chance (I think it was sub 3 percent) if the turnout was over 144 million. Oddly enough, at the time Biden pulled ahead in PA the popular vote was a little over 144 million.

So, why did more people vote?

1) You had a divisive incumbent who creates a visceral reaction in almost every United States citizen. Love him, hate him, whatever, you will find almost no American who does not have a strong, strong feeling about him one way or the other.

2) The side who hates him clearly saw what happens when you abstain from voting versus coming out. That ensured participation from those who refused to vote for either candidate in 2016.

3) The incumbent is sales guy at heart who basically spent the past four years marketing American politics every day to over 120 million people (estimate of his Twitter followers combined with people who don't follow but view his tweets through other means). Quite simply, Donald Trump made politics the most viewed, most talked about and most mainstream spectator sport in America.

4) The Covid shift which pushed people indoors and led to a popularization of mail-in/absentee voting.

You guys that are shocked about voter turnout need to actually do some research. Look up primary numbers that occurred in April and later. Many of them shattered previous primary records for their states.

It is easy to acknowledge, without picking sides, that we have become a people who will do a lot of things from home we won't otherwise do if it means going out to do it. You can use any number of reference points (Uber Eats and other similar services being increasingly popular even pre-Covid among young people is one) to prove this point, but my personal favorite is Netflix. Let's call it the Bird Box theory.

Two years ago, Netflix released Bird Box, a low-budget, slow-paced horror/suspense film starring Sandra Bullock. The film was streamed by 45 million accounts in its first week of release. The average movie ticket cost $9.11 in 2018. That means that the box office take for Bird Box in seven days would have been $409.9 million. If you think half of those people had someone watching with them, that seven-day haul climbs $615 million.

For comparative purposes, Black Panther and Infinity War are the only 2018 releases that brought in more than the $615 during their entire theatrical runs.

The fact is, the promotion of mail-in voting made voting something you could do from home without having to get dressed, go anywhere, stand in line or interact with people. That is (unfortunately) very appealing to Americans pre-covid. Post covid it is a game changer. Not to stereotype, but I would guess this type of thing probably appeals more to Democrats than it does Republicans, if for no other reason than the head of the GOP spent the much of the last 6 months telling his supporters' votes would wind up in rivers.

I'm sure I'm going be called all kinds of stupid, but hopefully the more reasonable folks here will at least consider some of what I wrote as logical.

i guess thats were our viewpoints differ...the right to march and protest....were they going to the mayors home.....the McCloskeys were the 1st house at the entrance...words were exchanged and then guns brandished....i really think that is what made the crowd linger there....i dont know all the details and again, all i said was watch the video which gave some credence to the gate that initial gave the crowd access...in the video, the gate is clearly up and open as the initial wave is entering....i took some wording in your post as the gate was the Mcloskey gate and they felt threatened and the need protect themselves and property...we can easily have a conversation, its possible

I don’t get why you still refuse to see what is the one and only point. Which is, the PROTESTERS, that’s the key word, went somewhere they shouldn’t have, to a person’s HOME. They were in the wrong. Period. Not up for discussion.
What would you think if a group of people walked up to your porch and started fussing, yelling, threatening you? Color isn’t the issue here. It’s as simple as right or wrong.

Please put aside party for a moment and consider before answering.

You’re blinded by thinking your party is better than the other one. So you refuse to even consider the evidence, or the possibility. Instead, you dig deeper to try validating your views.

Until you are at least willing to consider that your party could be corrupt, you will continue to dig your heels in making excuses for your party.

The truth is we are all lied to, and deceived. And it’s being done on purpose, and both sides are getting richer at our expense.

The thing is Mac, I looked at those videos and the crowd was trying to go past their house to where the Mayor lived. Should they have been there? There is a good case to be made that they were trespassing when they went into the community but we do have a history in this country of peaceful dissent even when it nominally breaks the law. Had the McKloskeys stayed in their home none of this would have happened. The videos really do make clear that the marchers were not there to bother them. They were just going by their house.
Instead, the McKloskeys decided to ramp up the problems by coming out to engage. The husband had his machine gun ready. He was not waving it at anyone or even engaging. He was just standing there with it. His wife actually got her pistol and went over to where the marchers were and started jawing with them. I actually saw a bunch of the protesters calling their friends to walk in the street.
I know you want to avoid imputing race into everything but it is hard to avoid a visual of brown-skinned people walking down a street and a white couple immediately arming themselves.

You ask for civility, then post this? How many times does someone have to read that the protestors, not marchers, came INTO private property? They didn't walk by their home, they walked up to the back porch. Read this again, they left public property, and entered private property. There isn't a single decent person that thinks this would be acceptable.
This has nothing to do with race. These are, however, pathetic, sorry excuses for human beings. You're the one bringing race into it, which is what liberals do when they can't win on the issue. Divert.

You're loyal to your side, I'll give you that. It's a shame though.

Actually my post was very civil. First, I admitted that they were trespassing in that community. Trespassing is a crime so you and I are in agreement. Then, I told you want I had seen in the video. If you can link me to a video that shows it differently, then please do.
Disagreement is not a lack of civility. I was hoping we could actually have a conversation where we could discuss the bases of our disagreements and perhaps offer actual evidence to prove our point.

You have a very strange view of what is civil versus uncivil discussion. You highlighted the quoted post as being somehow against civility yet, last night, you called me a sorry piece of **** because I had the audacity to ask your opinion about Sydney Powell getting fired.

Nothing I said is about party. You're asking me to consider evidence, but there is no evidence being presented, which is why all these cases immediately get thrown out of court.

I wrote a post using critical thought addressing why there were so many people voted in 2020. I cited an expert source who predicted it and I also gave examples of how Donald Trump registered some incredible numbers when put into a historical context.

There was nothing partisan, unless you consider my pointing out that Democrats are more likely to want to keep their asses at home than stand in line to vote (which isn't exactly a positive statement if you think about it).

Seriously, rather than call me names, why don't you reread my post, point out some errors and have a discussion with me?

One it wasn’t a machine gun. They were outside on their property but you say they should go inside when rioters not protesters illegally came onto their neighborhood. The Mccloskeys showed great restraint by not shooting them when they were threatened. Now you have a Soros financed DA wanting to put them into prison for protecting their lives and property

I don't know why Powell hasn't taken it to the court yet. I can't answer that. You choose to assume she is stonewalling, just lapping up the attention, and/or lying. I've stated I think she's telling you the truth. She's either got balls bigger than church bells or she's nuttier than a squirrel turd, because the names she's accusing are HUGE.

You though, if it's not your party, they are wrong. Or you search to defend why an unpopular inept man won, and received the record votes he did. It has been mentioned, that Trump received majority of his votes from walk in, Biden from mail in. You won't even consider that cheating "may" have happened. I'm not so sure though that even if Powell proves it, you'll believe it.

You want to know why it's frustrating dealing with you liberals? You believe the media you choose, criticize me if I get critical of a station I think more of, or a reporter I have said I like, all the while, the person doing the accusing is someone I knew very little of until recently. This lady is also suggesting the corruption goes across the party aisle. Did you read that? She's not just saying Democrats are corrupt. I think that's a sign that I'm not playing politics.

What kind of world are we living in when governors want you to snitch on your neighbors for the gatherings on Thanksgiving, and worse yet, Cuomo being considered for an Emmy?
He’s proven to be nothing short of incompetent. This is after he has led people to their death, literally, and just last week blamed Covid on the citizens.

Where is the media?

Both sides have done it. So, I think it'd be fair at this point for either side to call for some civility.
4 years. Trymp supporters are nazis, misogynistic, white supremacists, cultists and xenophobic who have no empathy. Biden looks to be president. C'mon guys, let's be civil.

And not that I disagree with your statement here. But that is very rich coming from you.

Biden announced that he will repeal the Trump policy regarding immigration of not allowing anyone in the country unless they can support themselves. His policy allow immigrants to be immediately eligible for food stamps and welfare.
So many things he is going to set us backwards on. Saudi Arabia is about to sit down with Israel and discuss peace agreements. Already talking about normalized travel agreements, allowing direct flights and entrance between the countries. This is huge and will be put in danger of succeeding if we reverse our policy on Iran. Which is a promise of Biden's.

Biden has said he will reverse some of Trump's executive orders in connection with immigration. However, the issue of the eligibility of federal assistance is set by law and so cannot be repealed by executive order. And, under that law, in order to be eligible for any type of federal assistance, the immigrant must have been in this country for five years. In short, Biden's policies will not grant immigrants immediate access to these things.

I am not sure what four years of Trump have to do with this message board. Pretty much every time I posted something Mac and Top would tell me that I was mentally ill, a liar, a horrible human being etc. I started responding in kind, which I don't usually do. I suggested we try to lower the temperature because I did not see that what was going on was productive on either side. And no, my feelings are not hurt. I just prefer somewhat productive conversation and we were not having any.

I doubt very much whether the Saudi's give a rat's *** about Iran. They have had no relationship with Iran over the last four years.

That is the Dejure law but under Obama he had an executive order which allowed this.Trump rescind that order and Biden specifically said he would go back to the Obama policy

We couldn't impeach someone for his crimes concerning Russian interference. Even harder to impeach someone who hasn't committed a crime.
There was no collusion but Biden bragged on tape about extorting Ukraine by withholding a billion dollar loan if they did not stop investigating his crackhead son.

Obama's executive order created the Dreamers (DACA Executive Order
). A change in access to federal benefits requires an Act of Congress.
