In 2009 Biden is on record promising Obama and his green energy plan would provide five million good paying jobs.Just another example of his many failed policies. This country is in real trouble

It’s a valid point. Which is this Bezos character doesn’t trust mail in voting. Why?

So as someone who has actually worked for Bezos, I can tell you that one of the first things you'll hear about in orientation is how bad unions are and when I worked there even attempting to try to organize a union was grounds for termination. This is absolutely not about mail in ballots. It's about the fact that Amazon and Bezos despise unions.

And no I'm not saying this because I'm some disgruntled former employee, in fact most of my time at Amazon was positive and for an entry level warehouse job you cannot beat it.

Not comparing the importance of a Union vote to a presidential election but if voting by mail is subject to fraud in one instance it is certainly valid in every instance.
That is absolutely incorrect and is based on a faulty comparison. It is more than just importance, It also goes to the difference between the steps and money that goes to protecting the votes for president and for a union. But, more fundamentally, Bezos is trying to stop a legitimate vote, just like Trump, and is willing to lie about it. just like Trump.

I can't figure out what I think of 1) the targeted buying by reddit users and 2) this tool to stop them. Like a lot of Americans, I have money in the market that I am counting on for retirement. On the other hand, the market seems so unhinged from the economy that it may be necessary to force a correction. Bleedit, do you have any thoughts?

Robinhood was all for this until the little people actually got a stranglehold over big corps. You know, for years these hedge funds have screwed regular people over, over, and over again. Now that it's happening to them, we're all suppose to care?

I only care to the degree that it effects my retirement fun and like I said, I am not up on the ins and outs of market manipulation. Volatility will also hurt the little guy as their 401ks will be whipsawing and making it difficult to plan long term. I would also love Congress finally tax as income, hedge fund salaries.

I don't want to see anyone lose their *** that doesn't deserve it. Anybody who loses their 401k because of anything is tragic. Congress needs to act, but they won't. If they do it will undoubtedly be to benefit anyone but regular people.

Isn’t this the same Governor that received an award for his handling of the virus? Or is this Trump’s fault @durhamgolfer ?
Isn't this the disease you said was no big deal and that our efforts to contain it were draconian and stealing years from college kids?
But, fyi, this is a huge black eye for Cuomo. no doubt. I would still take him over Trump any day of the week and twice on Sunday. At least he never suggested people should drink bleach.

That guy is a total POS. The fact that people fawn over him is evidence enough for how partisan we are. There is no leader that handled the pandemic worse than Cuomo. His EO killed more people than any other human error throughout this whole thing and he spent the whole time blaming Trump. All while being praised for his "leadership". The narcissistic prick writes a book about how he crushed the virus when his state had twice as many deaths as the next closest state and 4 times as many as the third closest state. Then like you said, won a fvcking award. Now his state is getting hit hard again even though he crushed the virus months ago. The way this has been covered by politicians and the msm is a disgrace. But at least it won't be political anymore now that orange man gone.

You’re right. I should have been more exact. He suggested injecting bleach might be a way to control the virus. That quote, btw, is in the article you linked.
You're incredible. Almost as incredible as the reporters who sat in the briefing room, knowing it was a televised press conference and everyone can watch it, yet STILL manage to completely and utterly misquote him, manipulate what he actually said, give zero context and flat out lie to people and act as if they're a fair and balanced journalist.

In no way, shape, or form did Trump say or suggest injecting or drinking bleach.

He suggested we possibly inject ultraviolet light or disinfectant. Here's the transcript. His words. No distortion. Not the "liberal media", his ******* words.

THE PRESIDENT: Thank you very much. So I asked Bill a question that probably some of you are thinking of, if you’re totally into that world, which I find to be very interesting. So, supposing we hit the body with a tremendous — whether it’s ultraviolet or just very powerful light — and I think you said that that hasn’t been checked, but you’re going to test it. And then I said, supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way, and I think you said you’re going to test that too. It sounds interesting.

ACTING UNDER SECRETARY BRYAN: We’ll get to the right folks who could.

THE PRESIDENT: Right. And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning. Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that. So, that, you’re going to have to use medical doctors with. But it sounds — it sounds interesting to me.

So we’ll see. But the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute, that’s — that’s pretty powerful.

And there's video evidence as well:

More incredible posting. Trump had the medical “experts” right there, and NEVER mentioned drinking bleach. His comments, or questions, were very valid. And you can see him asking legitimate questions.

Nothing he said should be twisted. Only liberals will twist what he said. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.
Just like HCQ. Trump was applauding that drug in March 2020. He was ripped by the media. Now, look what drug is being called valuable to treat Covid.

The establishment has never cared about the care of people. This was a sinister act, with a goal of killing our elderly and others with major issues. Fact. And the media are just as guilty. They should all be in prison.

Trump was NOT the bad guy in all this.

Check your article. I also watched that press conference and saw the reaction in the room when he made those ridiculous comments about uv light and bleach. you don't want to believe your president was that stupid, fine. But quit attacking me just because I did not drink the koolaid.

Are you truly up his *** this much? Never said that he suggested people drink bleach. He did suggest injecting disinfectant. The transcript is there. The video evidence is there. If you're too ******* blind to see it, then sadly, that's on you brother.

You’re a moron. Read it and watch it again. He was consulting and asking the medical people their opinions.

Get your head out of your *** and look at facts. It’s right there. Take your blinders off and be objective.

You’re a retard. Plain and simple. And you’re blind with hatred. Watch it again. Fairly, if that’s possible.

The person who should be at the front of the line going to prison is Cuomo, with the media right behind him. Your idiot governor. What he did was criminal, yet your ignorant *** wants to harp on someone who actually did good. That’s right, Trump did good.

So sad. Some psychologists have suggested that we can't get back to a functioning country until people like you are deprogrammed. I hope someone can help but you seem to far gone to me.

@Mac9192 fell right into the liberal trap. He presented legitimate reasons to be critical to a democrat leader and then got sucked into a useless argument designed to deflect from criticism of said democrat leader.

My thoughts on this. If you would take a man who is essentially responsible for tens of thousands of deaths over a man who said some pretty stupid and embarrassing things in that press conference, you are a partisan hack. But we all know this person is a partisan hack anyways.

Also, it would be beneficial to our country if people injected disinfectants. Anyone stupid enough to do that because Trump may or may not have suggested it is likely a leech to society and we'd be better off without them.

Yes I did. It’s a flaw I have. Even said something along these same lines today. I try using reason with those that are unreasonable. The end result, I lose.

Liberals are masters of getting off the issue, and moving the goalposts.

I assume that when you talk about tens of thousands of deaths attributable to Cuomo, you are including more than the nursing home debacle. But anyway, Mac put Trump right in the discussion when he asked me whether I was blaming Trump for the nursing home underreporting. Of course, there would not have been a need for so much back and forth had Mac been willing to admit what his own sources quoted and what is clear from the press conference which is that Trump suggested injecting bleach. I am amazed, Ghost, that you would actually write in public that there would be anything good about people shooting up bleach. the irony is that, were that to happen (and thank god it did not) it would have been Trump supporters who acted that way.
Lastly, between Cuomo and what happened in NY and Trump and his complete not just lack of action but refusal to be governed by science, there is simply no comparison. Trump has the deaths of just under 400,000 on his hands, as well as a complete cluster**k of the rollout of the vaccine which will lead to more deaths.

I hate Cuomo. I hate Trump. I think they're both responsible for thousands of deaths. And yes, Trump seriously suggested injections of disinfectant and Trump supporters defend it. Just like they defend every other **** thing he's said or done. CNN and MSNBC tried to make Cuomo into some kind of liberal hero. He's not. He's a charlatan, just like orange leader. New York is a mess because of his poor leadership. He has patted himself on the back. The neo-liberals love to kiss his ***. They're just as bad as the Trump supporters.

Fiction. Every Trump supporter defends it. Just like they defend every other **** thing he's said or done.
