Bolden may be calling the plays in the huddle, but Mackey will be behind the center. Again, give me a dollar figure.

We better not make fun guys... they are going to have 2 Sneads and another Masoli Clone next year. ? They are STACKED at qb. ? And that O line that left Masoli scrambling in the Egg Bowl.... they will improve 3 fold next year. ?Who needs defense when the offense will be on the field for 45 mins a game? ?

JxnReb said:Stoudt and Stanley are pocket passer (the will duel it out), Mackey is a read-option guy. I wondered the exact same thing this morning. With this kidbeing the new bear cub,Brunettitransferring from WVU to somewhere close to home and Memphis likely being out of the equation b/c well they're memphis(and they started a freshman last year); doesState show any interest in him again?Todd4State said:On the lake, they were saying something about Chris Garrett possibly looking to transfer there too.
I have to wonder what this means for Barry Brunetti.
And Stoudt used to play for Louisville. His Dad was Terry Bradshaw's back-up in Pittsburgh.
Please elaborate on the last timeMSUtook a preseason heisman hopeful QB and they ended up not beingdrafted at all. It has happened to Nutt the past two seasons, but you say no recruit will be able to see and comprehend what is happening.Interpol said:I'm sure a lot of coaches bring up your storied QB past in recruiting too.

Hell, we took a 2 star recruit and won8 games in the toughest conference and division in the country, and playing ina NYD bowl. Just imagine if we had a 3 or 4 star QB likeNutt keeps getting. I know that I am going out on a limb here, but I will have to say that coaching has played a large roll in both universities QB progress, or lack thereof in one case.
Interpol said:We're talking about 17 and 18 year old 17'ers who haven't grown out of their ADHD years - who knows what will catch their ear?
But I'm saying 9/10 hot shot high school kids don't really give a ##++ who signs where because they think they're the next big thing. 5 star players wouldn't sign up to sit on the bench behind other 5 star players at big programs like Alabama and USC if they weren't convinced they were the ****. They often find out how wrong they were, and are coerced into transferring to Ole Miss.
Interpol said:Of course Mullen should be able to lock up top tier QB's with his pedigree n' **** and he gives MSU exactly what it needs (which is, perhaps, exactly what Ole Miss needs). Good for you. That still won't scare away QB recruits from Nutt and Ole Miss until rapture like one of your shittier posters is contesting.
However, to play devil's advocate, are you personally satisfied with Mullen's QB recruiting thus far?
