Scheffler / Henley and Cantlay / Schauffele are our best shots for points, Not feeling really warm and fuzzy and the Cantlay / Schauffele match to be honest. They have played horrible lately, but have been stellar Ryder Cup players.

Rahm / Hatton is a very stout pair and Rory and Fleetwood are auto win. Morikawa had better play a whole lot better than he has been or it will get ugly early in that one.
Depends on which Thomas and DeChambeau show up, they have a chance if the good shows up and not the missing fairways by 30 yards side. I would take 2-2 or 2.5-1.5 and not even tee it up. Can't go out and fall behind 0-4 / 1-3.

They alternate shots. One drives, the other hits approach. 4 ball, both players from both teams play their own ball, lowest score of the teammates gets posted.

Golf is such a fickle game. Especially alternate shot. Morikawa and English are two of the best iron players in the world. If they’re dialed in it should be a good match. We’ve all watched seemingly overmatched European teams give us fits in this format. Maybe it’s our turn.

Dechambeau said it was playing much easier than when he played it four or five years ago.Number one, for example, has been shortened considerably

USA livestream breaks in with commercials right in the middle of player shots. Very annoying.

US team once again not putting well. Henley has given away 2 holes already. Euros making everything.

Rahm and Hatton with two unbelievable shots. Rahm out of nearly hip high rough and Hatton from behind a stick.

US guys are pretty clutch in Majors, but just choke in this alternate shot format every time it seems. They’re gonna be lucky to not get swept this morning.

Fleetwood-Mac is a really tough pair to beat, feel sorry for whoever has to play them.

In hindsight I would have liked to have seen Cam Young paired with Scheffler this morning. I respect Henley but he’s more effective playing his own ball.

Sheffler a no show. Thomas missing putts as usual. USA will be lucky to lose 3-1 this round

Very simple, Euro's making clutch shots and putts, USA is not. Can't stick it close and can't putt. Hopefully it is only 3-1 after the morning session, but probably a 4-0 sweep. USA is clearly nervous and making mistakes, when Euro's make mistakes, they make up for it. Going to be a long Ryder Cup, when McIntyre made the 20 footer for par, I knew as much.

He's only hitting half the shots. Henley has given away 2-3 holes missing putts. But I agree Scheffler is not on his A game right now.

Henley has been as bad as I can remember a Ryder Cup player being in a long time. And I’m a fan of him. This is not his format.

Keegan definitely needs some lineup changes for the afternoon session.

I don’t even know who’s playing good enough for US team to feel comfortable sending out this afternoon. US team has no killers. Raymond Floyd still alive? If he is wheel him out there.

Need young confident players, not overrated has beens. Ben Griffith has been playing as good as anyone on tour and obviously not scared of the moment. Burns with Scheffler would have been the better pairing. They are best friends and could go out and play loose.
