I was hoping to get 2.5-1.5, but now US MUST get that 1 point. 3-1 is a lot better than 4-0. Sad thing is Rose and Lowry wasn't even playing. Too much depth and they want it more. I knew when USA came out wearing those God awful tennis shoes with suit and tie it was over. Take that $200K and get some fashion and Ryder Cup lessons.

To be fair, Europe has the better overall team. That's why I bet them and could not understand them being such a big underdog

But there is a LONG way to go

I’d go Scheffler-Cam Young / Bryson-Colin/ Griffin-Burns/ Schauffele-Spaun this afternoon. In that order. Get some birdie makers out there. Try to build some momentum.

Luke Donald will take the guys out for pints and some laughs tonight like they've probably done all week.

Keegan will somehow intimidate the Americans into actually playing worse.

Europe less pressure and more camaraderie like all the other recent Ryder Cups. Rinse and repeat.

It may get ugly.

Bench Thomas and send him out last Sunday. You can't bring that kind of putting to the Ryder Cup.

US has 8 of top 11 ranked players in the world plus Bryson. Their guys just seem so much more comfortable in team play and our guys gear their games toward Majors.

I cringed seeing Thomas sent back out there but he's playing pretty well so far. They cannot blow this lead against Aberg/Hojgaard.

Just hard to beat guys making 30+ footers all day. Rory needs to hit it closer so he can gag on short putts. And Scheffler hasn’t made a putt all day that I’ve seen.

Rahm showing Sheffler live and in person why he should be number 1 in the world.

The fact that the USA is playing for money and the Uro dont tells me a lot about American golf..

USA are spending the money they dont have to earn. Americans getting paid to play but not to win.

Another gag. My goodness not only do the Euro's roll in 30 footers, but you rarely see them miss putts like Cantlay's.

Starting to look like Keegan may have been a better player than captain.
Why in the world do we select captains that are still close to their prime?

He was a terrible pick for sure. To be fair, Tiger was first choice but he said no. Then they might have looked at others as well but felt they would’ve said no also. I honestly don’t remember what happened after Tiger said no. Bradley felt like a panic pick at the time to me.

I think Phil had he not joined up with LIV been considered for captain.

Freddie for 2027?
If you’re talking Couples, he may be too old. They need the captains to be around Tiger generation IMO. Phil wouldn’t be bad I don’t think. Others in that age range would be people like Stewart Cink and Webb Simpson who would both be good choices I think.

Throw the world rankings out the window. USA team is just getting out played. Euros making more quality golf shots.

Whoever decided to set this course up like a Quad Cities Open should be tarred and feathered. You’re not gonna beat the Euros in a putting contest on slow greens. Should have made it as difficult as possible.

Would have like to have seen a mix up this morning instead of trotting English, Morikawa and Henley out there again. Maybe the other guys would have shown some signs of life.

Definitely would've changed up the pairings this morning.

Be an exciting match, and we’re sticking to our plan,” Bradley said. “We’re not going to panic. We’re not going to panic and make those sort of mistakes. We’re going to stick to what we know.

“We have a lot of confidence in them.”

The move comes as the Data Golf websiteranked all 132 potential pairings for each side — and the Morikawa-English combo was 132nd. The rank received validation by the Friday morning defeat, and Morikawa and English didn’t play in the four-ball matches later Friday.

I understand not following analytics religiously. But when the results confirm the data and you do it again? Pure ignorance.

Not a good look for Keegan.
