Freeze said he had to change his signals/communications whe the dude left and I'm sure he did. Why is the ******** so strong? They are losing their mind.

It's a nice little excuse on how they somehow lost to Alabama

It couldn't be that Bama is just better

That's what happens when your fan base is comprised of lawyers and self important 17stains. You can't accept that you lost and you demand a recount or you will sue

What's funny is that Ole miss fans actually think they need an excuse. Like anyone is wondering why they lost by 25 to Bama. It's because you're not nearly as good as Bama, Reb fans. Period. Regardless of if they knew your plays or not

Obviously there is a tipoff besides just the signs

the sideline is bird dogging....to the informed anyway.

Their QB said it,... they took our bread and butter away.

They stuffed the read option and speed sweep

Which really puts their offense in a box. I heard someone say you need to watch where Moncrief lines up, it will tell you a lot. Fact is Hugh doesn't run a lot of different plays especially in fast mode.

So Ole Miss goes 4 wide on 4th & 5, and this guy predicts "pass"

Clearly, such clairvoyant wizardry must be dealt with by the league office.

I don't get this at all. He works for Alabama. The guy could pick out Ole Miss tendencies. What are they complaining about?

Don't you think Melvin Smith was telling Gus Malzahn **** about stuff we did?

I see it as perfectly legal

Sounds like OM just 17ed up to some extent.

More than likely, Sisky watched the signals and plays for several sequences, and was able to say this means this, and this means this.

I doubt they needed the staff of Bletchley Park to figure it out.

Because the great bastion of integrity and righteousness that is Ole Miss wouldn't do this if the roles were reversed. If they hired a guy from another school and he came in with tips on an upcoming opponent Freeze and his staff would politely decline and ask him to keep it to himself.

Yep, at my sons baseball game this morning

I watched the coach for three batters and deduced if he touched his nose last it was fastball the ear last meant curve, we lost 9 to 0.

And it's not like it was 24-20 game. It was 25-0. Even if the GA did make a difference, it wasn't worth it to the point it would have been competitive game. Unless Siskey told Freeze not to kick FGs.

The damn announcers were even telling what plays they were going to run before they snapped the ball. If Monqueef lined up on Bama's side of field it was a bait play. If He lines up on OM side of field he is the intended receiver

Whiney Bitches! It's what they do.

those dumb 17'ers thought they were going to beat bama b/c they had the number six or eight ranked recruiting class in the country last year. Nevermind that bama has had recruiting classes ranked in the top three for about five years running now. They are as bad as many of our fans, just in a different way.

With a fast paced offense, how could any coach in the press box read the signals and get the information to the defense in time for them to adjust to it?

Whiny bitches. Football is about execution anyway, and they didn't do it. They got their asses kicked and now their already fragile egos are hurting badly.

Sorry--I disagree. You question how he could get the call down in time? Uh--a microphone. You think he was talking to himself? Calling "It's a run" or "pass" on any third or 4th down play--much less every play IS a big deal. You telling me that if Bama didn't know the OM calls --and OM DID know Bama's plays in advance it wouldn't have made any difference? ********. The bears defense got worn down from all the 3 (or 4) and outs, but until then, Bama didn't show me **** on offense

What I don't get is "Little Nicky" so damn insecure he needs to hire someone to call OMs plays in advance? He doesn't think he can beat the friggin bears at home? I just don't get it. They are Ole Miss--Bama owns them. Why get busted on national TV with some ******* in the coaches box with a set of binoculars? Just play the game, "Little Nicky" if you can't see the field, have some of your players hold you up. That's what you're paying them for, isn't it? It's embarrassing if your a bama fan, and gives the bears something to whine about--though I think it's a legit whine.

There's a lot more to getting the play call to the field than speaking into a microphone. It then has to be relayed to the players on the field and they have to get in position for the call. Offenses often struggle to get this done in 40 seconds and you're telling me Bama's defense can do it in less than 10?

No--I'm serious. A school that calls itself the "team of the century" and a "dynasty" but steals signals by hiring an ex-coach is lame to me. I don't mind it when the players figure it out--like we did against Auburn last year http://www.teamspeedkills.com/2012/9/13/3325872/mississippi-state-stole-auburns-offensive-signals

But that's not the same as bringing a guy in just because you have the bucks, perching him in the coaches box with a pair of Leupolds and saying "it's a pass" on 4th down. Alabama has "assistant coaches" all over the country positioned in key city just to recruit full time. Very few schools have the coin to do that. We are being scrutinized for an agent maybe giving a plane ticket to a player--who never even shows up, but Fluker gets $$, tickets, furniture.

If Alabama wants to be the team of the century--just line up an win the games. Why do they think they need an edge on everyone?

Evidently--you think the guy was just in there talking to himself? Besides--you can be in position an then find out what the call was and play for that after the snap. Bama was batting down balls like I have never seen a team do before. Now I'm starting to wonder if that was just because they knew they didn't have to watch for a run. Besides, why is this a debate? You think Sean Payton holds his clipboard in front of his mouth because he has bad teeth? And now almost every coach does it? Teams...steal... signals. Our players did it against Auburn last year. But hiring a former coach and sitting him in the coaches box? I think that's taking it to a greasy new level and is especially lame for a team that wants to be known as a "dynasty."

Do you

really think Alabama hired this guy just to beat OM? Alabama shut OM out because they're the better team, by a mile.

Yeah. I doubt very seriously that he was talking to the other 5 or so people in the booth with him. Also, I thought it was well known that Freeze changed up his signals before this game. That's what, I believe, Freeze himself said.

So you are saying that Saban hired Siskey last March because he thought the guy might be able to provide him with an edge by stealing signals in the Ole Miss game? Well that seems like a really sound and reasonable theory.
