You and the people like you are the reason we still have restrictions now.
We have restrictions still because once government sets something they don’t like to give it back. Period. The masks don’t work . They are not the firewall they are given credit for by fauci and every other snowflake Karen in the USA. And that is a fact.

See..... this is the problem with two sets of facts. One comes from virologists, scientists and other experts with specific knowledge of virology, and the ways and means of combatting it..... And the other comes from Sean Hannity Donald Trump and Tucker Carlson.....None of which have likely OPENED a science book, let alone have any working knowledge of such matters. They have politicized a virus that so far has killed Just in one year. over 500,000 people, many of which didnt have to die. They died because of beliefs such as 91THS just posted. Think about a 9-11 tragedy every day for the past year. Even THAT is not enough to convince some of the least among us. That is because too many have bought this false message hook line and sinker. They blame "Karen" the governor, Democrats, Joe Biden, Jesus Mary and Joseph, ANYBODY but where the blame should be placed. Because to do this would mean they have been wrong, and they just can not admit that, if 1 million 10 million die.....Even if it kills members of their own family. This is the sad state we find ourselves in. In this environment all we can do is vaccinate as many as we can, wear our masks and do the other mitigation efforts and hope the virus thins the herd of those that wont participate in their own safety.

Ladies and gentlemen... I give you the Karen of Haywood County. Let me ask you this Mule... Will you trade your personal freedoms for safety? You know uncle joe loves you.. You are proof that liberalism is a mental disorder. Do you really believe that face diaper is stopping anything? You go ahead and be afraid of something with a 98 percent survivability . I will live my life as I see fit. To hell with you and your mask. There is no science behind it.

Will you trade your personal freedoms for safety? Well my response to that is your "freedom" ends when it affects the health safety and freedom of others. Either by killing some innocent motorist in a crash due to drunken driving or infecting others with a virus you KNOW is capable of killing. Suppose somebody under the influence ran into and killed somebody in your own family? I bet your tune would change, or would it? Would THAT person's "freedoms" take precedent over your family member's safety? AS for me, I dont see it as a choice since I dont mind looking out for others as well as myself when I can. OF course I know thats not how you roll so lets address the issue of "freedom." . My personal freedoms are NOT infringed by protecting as best I can, myself and others from a disease that has proven to be deadly to half million plus (so far) Americans. Following the advice of legitimate experts, not TV personalities, or carnival barkers is not a burden to me. Its common sense. . BTW, what is 2 percent of 330 MILLION? Answer.... Thats a pantload of people that don't have to die. Sure is easy to dismiss such a trivial amount isnt it Sean?

U can always find questionable articles to support your views on the internet, most from from some place many have never heard of or a source like FOX and Newsmax that have well known views, which IMHO are also responsible for all the **** that went down at Capital and the huge loss of life we have experienced due to Covid. Wearing a mask is not infringing on anyone's rights, it simply shows you care about others and are trying to do your part with ending this. Our medical folks have done this for years. We lost a member of our family this past September to Covid, unfortunately he was one of the ones who listened to the politicians vs the scientists, went to church and took his mask off because many others in there were also mask-less. That church had an outbreak that killed 5 of their members. Sadly, this church is still having a service for the folks that do not want to wear masks and one for the people that do, well, they have recently experienced another outbreak. Our response to a deadly virus should have never been politicized by our lawmakers, but these days, why would anyone expect anything any different. The two sides will never agree on anything.

I love how Fox news and S. Powell are using the same legal defense of lawsuits, no reasonable person should believe or be skeptical of our programming/statements.

I also believe it to be a personal choice issue. I choose not too wear it. As for it protecting .. Everyone in the front office at my work wear the mask.. Everyone of them got it. One in particular got it twice. I have relatives who have it right now. They are mask wearers and have had the first part of the vaccine. So you wear the mask and I respect that. I choose a different path . If we are bound to get this no mask is going to stop it. Anyway. That’s my last post on this it’s back to what’s left of football.

Anyone else see the irony in this statement? Liberals kill me lmao.

I would mention that Asheville -Erwin postponed tonight game until Monday and Polk cancelled the next two games because of Covid but I know you guys wouldn't believe it.I would also mention that cases are increasing again and France along with Canada have shut down again but you would have some lame excuse that it was all a liberal hoax.I would also mention that since I have had both shots wearing the mask does not protect me but protect the people I come in contact with .Plus the other reason I wear the mask I don't want anyone to think I am stupid.

What is so funny is the people the do not do anything to mitigate its spread, are the same ones shouting the loudest to open things up, they dont seem to understand its their very actions that have caused, and continues to cause the numbers to remain high. No, masks and social distancing will not stop CV19 from spreading, but it, and getting vaccinated is our best defense against it.

Go Mounties!

The problem is that the current administration isn't giving any incentive for people to get the vaccine by saying sorry but you still can't go back to normal even after getting the vaccine, it's ignorant for Biden to still parade around in four masks and insenuate that doom is on the horizon which the CDC said three days ago and immediately contradicted themselves by saying if you get the vaccine you are immune and cannot pass the virus to anyone. What is the truth, is it doom and gloom or are we coming out of this pandemic, the Democrats are still using this virus as a political tool to push bad policy such as the "infrastructure bill" they are currently trying to pass which distributes 5% to actual infrastructure such as roads, bridges, and buildings, and the other 95% on worthless nonessential bull, but that is the agenda the far left want, BAIZUO!!!

Dmull, do you really think that is new, they, both parties have been stuffing pork in every bill they pass for decades, thats not a far left/right deal, its called pork barrel....been going on longer than you have been alive.

No one is changing anyone's minds on the wearing/not wearing masks, so lets just congratulate the Mounties on a good win tonight......earlier someone mentioned that NB had several key players missing, anyone know if thats true, or are the Mounties improving on the field?

Nice win by the mountaineers tonight, I don't know if they have actually improved or if it's just the competition, but, regardless that was a good win tonight considering they lost to North Henderson, which in turn lost to North Buncombe. I wasn't able to go but from what I heard on the radio they seemed to play well tonight. It seems they have found an identity as a run first offense and use the QB as a runner for the most part, and using efficient passes and sparingly at that.

Sounded as if everyone was there on the radio, although they lost their QB to a shoulder injury in the 3rd I believe, and the good RB was there as well and we seemed to shut him down. The THS defense has played well all season and keeps getting better but the offense just hasn't been able to put points up consistently like they did tonight.

So exactly how long do you propose the U.S. just shut down, I don't know about you but I have bills to pay and life to live. I don't choose to depend on the government for my livelihood, I choose to be self sufficient and forward thinking, not live in regress and fear, at some point you have to say...be responsible and we must get back to normal. It's not just us who will pay for the constant government handouts, it's my kids, yours, and theirs. The consumer is already paying at the pumps and we will soon pay everywhere else when taxes get raised on these big corporations, they just pass the bill on to you by way of inflation, where does it end?

We had a good crowd last night. It was chilly but everyone was in good spirits sand cheering our team. It was good to see. NB plagued themselves all night long with personal fouls. It must be in the water over there . After the game was over our guys came over to see their parents and you would of thought it was the end of days. NB”s principle Karen was extremely rude and was shouting at everyone telling them to leave. She finally gave up after she realized no one was listening to her.

99.7 survival rate.....
Not that this percentage is factual or a Fox Sean Tucker number, but I prefer the number of dead rather than a "statistic" Nearly 600,000 dead up to April 3 2021. Just a mere bag of shells, right? To add insult to injury is the fact that people like you ARE in fact, the reason that number is so high. We have lost more to Covid than any country on earth per capita. And the number would even be HIGHER if TX and Fla actually correctly counted or provided more accurate data on the actual deaths due to this disease. We get the number they give us for the count, and there is more than adequate reason to believe those numbers are under reported.

U are 100% correct Whoa!!! My FIL listened too much to all the goons on TV saying it will be over soon, no need to wear masks or social distance, its okay to act like normal and think everything will be alright, well he paid with his life. I really hold these politicians and talking heads responsible as they minimized it from day one vs taking this serious and making sure all our leaders were on the same page. Sadly if our leaders cannot even come together during a pandemic, I dont ever see it happening again. They will just continue to fight each other and at the end of the day, its the American people that pay the price when nothing gets done in Congress.

I'll try to stick with football posts from now on......

Yeah and less people would also die if we didn't drive cars. So get your horse and wagon out and I wish you the best of luck. Can't have your cake and eat it too.

Bull. Every where masks were mandated numbers have also risen. As much as you two don’t want to admit it. No matter what Anderson cooper and don lemon tell you. Do you also believe the numbers China reported died from their virus? People have died and no amount of masks on your face or not was goin to change that. Ask gov cuomo. He is an expert at killing folks. And Heelz... Sorry for your FIL . As I previously stated most in my family are maskers and they all have gotten it. The fact is if you are gonna catch this no mask is gonna stop it. So that said you two mask up and hide in your toilet paper forts . I will continue to live my life on my terms and accept all consequences. Good or bad.

Tuscola will be fine in time. Give Brookshire time to get things going. I don't know what kind of off season they had in terms of 7 on 7, weight training, O and D installs, etc. Those things take time to develop players and winning teams. On another note, Richmond and Lumberton had to quarantine and shut down their seasons. Lumberton for good. RC maybe they play in playoffs. Covid is still around. Wear a mask, don't wear a mask. Whatever. Happy Easter...

Thanks Steelers. I believe we will be fine overall. It’s been a rough start but the kids and family and community are starting to buy in. Which is good to see.

Honest question for you...do you know the leading cause of death last year, oh.....and the second leading cause???.....I will fill you in..... Heart Disease, cancer, then Covid but hey....who cares about those first two....right?(with sarcasm). We know liberals don't care about the first two, it doesn't fit their narrative just like everything else such as the african american man killing a white police officer at the Capitol, but we barely heard anything about that on the DNCnn or msdnc..... that's your unbiased media hard at work though...right mule???

I hate getting sucked into this nonsense because I just want it to be over. Try working in public health during a year long pandemic that everybody wants to ignore. However, this is too much to ignore.

Do you realize the amount of intense amount effort that we as a society put into lowering death rates due to heart disease and cancer? A huge reason those are the top two leading causes of death are people's choices regarding their own health (and also because we've been very successful in reducing early deaths to other things over the last hundred years, like certain communicable diseases.) I guess that helps explain why people won't make choices to protect others' health, such as wear a mask in public, if they won't take care of themselves.
