Probably so she has evidence in case she is murdered for unbuckling her seat belt or some other threatening movement by a black person. Yet, they can take in mass murdering white folks without killing them. It can be done.

These cops are just trigger happy because they know ultimately they have little accountability. I'll be waiting on pins and needles for the NRA to discuss how outraged they are that people are getting killed for expressing their 2nd amendment rights. White people can carry their guns openly in the middle of the street but a black man can't even get out a license without being shot in front of their family.

Tell us again how blacks are not targeted by police and that it's just a fantasy. Makes you wonder how many were killed before cellphone cameras.

There are too many people being killed by cops for there not to be a problem with the policing methods in this country. There are also too many people looking to excuse these murderers for there not there not to be a huge problem with racists looking to excuse the cops in every instance.

Funny how facebook had a technical glitch that kept this video from being seen for a period of time. Could it have been sanitized? In Louisiana the cops body cams mysteriously stopped working but there were too many cell phones around for that to have been missed.

This is getting out of hand. These cops need to stop executing people in the streets. They also need more psychiatric testing. They no doubt see the dregs of humanity that affects their psychiatric health and they need help keeping their own humanity healthy. They are suppose to be peace officers and not executioners.

The problem with police has nothing to do with race. I have posted extensively on this for years. We have militarized our police departments. We've given them surplus military equipment. A surge of officers coming out of the military from war zones and then being hired into police departments for over a decade now. That macho kick the door in and bust some heads.

I almost got into a fight with a cop at a black Friday event because he felt like he could just walk up and put his hands on me. No concept of what constitutes assault. No concept of under what circumstances they may stop a citizen. They are behaving as if they are still in a war zone doing whatever they feel like doing.

So the young police officers are influenced by that and so are the non-military veterans as they're riding around in halftracks with flack jackets on.

So the macho military culture has invaded police departments. Let's bust a few heads. It is rampant.

I think this is very accurate and is a real problem but I don't think there is any doubt that racism does make up a huge part of this. A lot of the military could be racist also.

The poster above is correct that there is far more black on black crime but that is as true as it may be another conversation. That is about criminals killing innocents and other criminals. That is a different conversation than the one about our government trained and paid supposed peace officers----protectors of the community becoming self-appointed executioners with a badge and a gun.

Now think of 15 years of a steady stream of them infusing police departments. When you're under stress what do you do? You revert back to your military training. Who do the young officers fresh out of the academy look up to, some fat cop that has been on the job for 25 years or some hot shot fresh out of Falluja?

You don't know the man followed orders at this point, you have a video of the aftermath. It's inexcusable at this point to say the man was an innocent victim, and he very well may be.

It's ridiculous to say cops are killing people simply because they are Black, do you think it's coincidence the news puts up these videos? And never of cops killing anyone else, even though as was shown yesterday Cops kill Whites at the same clip.

Since there is (as of yet) no video of the incident where the young lady is giving play-by-play of the aftermath it is pointless to argue that case other than for the obvious point that it is very inflammatory.

As for the gentleman that was held down and executed, there are multiple angles of that one and that is murder as clear as day. Held down and shot multiple times at point blank range.

I hope the truth comes out in these cases and I hope true justice is done without additional senseless violence as a result. Something is wrong but, IMO, it is definitely more complicated than just cops being racists or having too many weapons or other such nonsense. There is real fear out there on both sides. Some people are fearful of police and some police are fearful of anyone they stop. Problem is that all cops are armed and not all citizens they stop are. But make no mistake. Policing is a dangerous occupation that requires special people to perform the duties.

As long as humans are involved, bad judgments are inevitable. I am concerned that better training is not just the only answer. Just like a "normal" citizen can go off the deep end and commit a crime, a policeman/woman is capable of the same.

But, IMO, it is past time the police have to police themselves and break down the blue wall. Just like we want our neighbors to report bad behavior if they see it in regular society, it is time for cops to do the same among themselves. But because the are being generalized as racists and murderers, they tend to dig in. Not good for anyone and certainly retards solutions and changes that need to happen.

Because Sterling was pointing his gun at a patron, he refused the police orders to get down, he was tazed, and he had an illegal fire arm in his pocket, one of the cops yelled he has a gun, we can't see his arm while he's resisting, and I still don't know if the cop was in the right, but I'm damn sure not willing to call it murder at this point.

As for the Minnesota shooting, I don't know if the cop was justified or not, it appears MUCH worse than Baton Rouge. Then again all we have is the aftermath with a lady filming while her boyfriend is dying and a child in the backseat, how quickly we forget the hands up don't shoot garbage that Brown's buddy ran, and told the media right afterwards. It was a lie, so maybe before anyone gets their panties in a wad, maybe we should let due diligence play out.
