I am very confident in my opinion that just before kickoff of an NFL game is not the proper time or place for the singing of Lift Every Voice and Sing.
You are correct.I am very confident in my opinion that just before kickoff of an NFL game is not the proper time or place for the singing of Lift Every Voice and Sing.
I swear half you guys just look for stuff to be mad about.I am very confident in my opinion that just before kickoff of an NFL game is not the proper time or place for the singing of Lift Every Voice and Sing.
Never heard of it. Are there some naughty words in the lyrics or something?I am very confident in my opinion that just before kickoff of an NFL game is not the proper time or place for the singing of Lift Every Voice and Sing.

Sort of. It was Boyz to Men, so ....Is that what the black girl sang ?
Did they sing the National Anthem I hope ?
I’m in a very loud sports bar so could not hear it.
No they replaced it with that.**Is that what the black girl sang ?

Sure, let's have 2 National Anthems and divide us by color.I am very confident in my opinion that just before kickoff of an NFL game is not the proper time or place for the singing of Lift Every Voice and Sing.
17 you, completely different.Wait til you find out baseball just holds up the game in the middle of the seventh inning to sing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame”
17 the NFL then!No they replaced it with that.**
Of course they sang it. It was Boyz to Men and it was mid as the kids say.
Bravo.I thought this was gonna be a post about " there is a time and place to hawk tua on that Dak" but I guess the beginning of the game ain't it
I thought the same as well.I thought this was gonna be a post about " there is a time and place to hawk tua on that Dak" but I guess the beginning of the game ain't it
No one is mad. But you have to acknowledge the WTF moments when they happen.
The snowflake and pussssy references are telling. So, a question to those of you who are triggered by this thread:
Anyone want Sarah McLaughlin singing "In the arms of an angel" as thier walk up song?
It’s a song in the pregame 10 minutes before the national anthem. Who cares? No one is mad. But you have to acknowledge the WTF moments when they happen.

On the diamond, my song should be "Walk This Way"No, I'm more of a Building a Mystery man.
Yes it was very dead.Absolutely nobody in that stadium.
Got Damn. It’s a song in the pregame 10 minutes before the national anthem. Who cares?
Apparently nobody. It’s a song in the pregame 10 minutes before the national anthem. Who cares?
Not the least bit mad. Didn't even know what it was. It was just awkward and the crowd was paying zero attention because it's completely out of place before a game.
I missed that, however I did notice that the pregame took forever. I lprepared and cooked dinner and heard some singing still going on as i plated the food. Admittedly it was just omelettes but it lasted long enough that I had to ask my wife if that really was still pregame.I am very confident in my opinion that just before kickoff of an NFL game is not the proper time or place for the singing of Lift Every Voice and Sing.
The more concerning thing to me is that everybody seems to just take an absolute side on things like this. There’s a few of us that may question things from a middling point of view. But eh, who cares, lukewarm and I will spew you out n stuff.Got Damn.
Did your kids do the production or something?
Ffs, If no one cares let the thread die of its own momentum, or lack thereof. Your ire of someone's questioning of a pre-game pet project is just as interesting as the eyebrows that went, "wait, what?"
I really have no idea why folks watch stuff that pisses them off. You dont have to do things you dont enjoy for leisure.I was offended by the taking the knee crap and Kapernick and his posse and gave up on the NFL back then, I highly recommend it. Sounds like I would have really been offended by tonight's crap, but instead, I was already pre-offended by Kap (not to be confused with pre-shi-tting) so therefore I wasn't offended tonight!
