He really should never be allowed on campus again after this complete and utter debacle. He made a 2-9 Maryland team look like Tommy Frazier's Nebraska team in the 2nd half

This +100000000. Let him pay his own way back to Queens. Take his coaching whistle before he leaves too.

Did anyone approach the topic of his defense giving up 700 yards of offense to a team with 2 wins? Because I'd love to hear his answer to that one.
Did we really give up 700 yards? Haven't had time to check the stats yet - that's an unreal stat, wow.

Yeh, like did your defense actually practice in pads this week? Or do they close their eyes once the ball is snapped?

Get a grip. Flood said exactly what he was supposed to say. Of course, he knew nothing about his job being in jeopardy but had a mini-speech on his accomplishments. He stuck with the positives abut the game, credited opponent, gave Laviano stats, going put recruiting tomorrow. Dissed all his detractors by claiming ignorance about his job status. Was supremely confident.

Just what recruits want to hear. Same for Barchi and JH, and anybody on the fence. Built in excuses of youth due to player injury and "unavailability'. All the experience coming back. Excellent recruiting class.

Did you want him to list his inadequacies? Talk about all the blowouts? Record setting defense? Say how scared is is about his job? Get real. A good litigator could make a terrific case for retaining him. I want him gone, but it may not happen. And he's not going to pull the trigger or make it easy..

The case has either been made or it hasn't by now. Just a matter of getting all the ducks in a row and acting on it. Let's hope it's not the "same old Rutgers."

And Ben Carson is a Neuro who believes the Pyramids housed some type of commodity (wheat, corn who knows), there are no fossils that prove evolution (UNF'ING BELIEVEABLE) and that the Earth is just over 5,000 years old.

MO
Flood can prove all that algebraically

Well, there actually are no fossils that prove macroevolution. Please give one example.

Microevolution/adaptation? Sure plenty of evidence -- no argument here. But Macroevolution? Another story altogether. Thanks.

You don't know what you're talking about.

Okay. Please educate me. Which fossils prove macroevolution?

The distinction between Microevolution and macroevolution is meaningless....purely a convenience of terminology depending on the perspective from which you are viewing evolutionary change. "Macroevolution" is simply Microevolution writ large. If you accept one, but not the other, you are as dumb as the gibbon-like creature from which you evolved.

Well since the term "macroevolution" typically applies to evolution above the species level, let's focus on that area. Since you are obviously not, as you say, "as dumb as the gibbon-like creature from which you evolved[,]" I guess it will be pretty easy for you to address my request for evidence in the fossil record for what is commonly referred to as "macroevolution." Please identify a fossil or fossils that prove evolution above the species level. Thanks!

Again, micro and macro evolution are identical processes. You bible thumpers are too dumb to grasp that. Bible thumpers look at the overwhelming evidence for speciation in something, like, say, the equine fossil record, and...whilst wiping drool off their chins...say "durrrr where's da missing horse link mutant fossil."

I mean if you don't see the evidence in the fossil record, it's only because of willfull ignorance.

You're willing to buy that Yahweh created man out of dust with zero evidence
.....but a treasure trove of evidence for evolution will never be enough for you fools unless we discover like a time lapse photography record of actual speciation happening before our eyes

Back in Moz's day, only winners got trophies in little league. The teams that lost got put in orphanages or sold to Myanmar.

Yup. Somerville Little League gave a trophy to the Champs and told the rest of up to try again next year. The 80s. The last time kids weren't told "they are special."

Rutgers should pull a north korea move and make Kyle Flood the eternal coach for all his greatness, all hail the great dear KF who leads us to great victories...
I'd prefer the other North Korean move where Flood just disappears; no announcement and nobody dares speak his name. A new coach just shows up and we never acknowledge the Kyle Flood era of Rutgers Football ever existed.

Come off it dude. My mom still has my North Caldwell Vikings participation trophies in the closet back home. Pretty sure we didn't win a championship or even a game in 1987 under the immortal Pete Bonastia, but I still have a trophy for some reason. Also we got prime rib at the banquet at the Wayne Manor iirc. Ah, those were the days.

I remember getting a ticket to the concession stand whether we won or lost. Isn't that the 80s version of the participation trophy?

Come to think of it, we might have tied Cedar Grove 0-0. Though that might have been in 88. It all blends together...must be the CTE.

I never saw any participation trophies in the 80s... they are one of the DUMBEST things to come around in the last few decades imo.
