He's exactly right. Mullen and Stricklin have created an illusion. We are slow, have very little talent, and overmatched by any decent team.

You're half right. It's not an illusion, but Mullen and Co. have taken this team as far as they can. They've set the table nicely for a good coaching staff to come in and make some nice things happen. As hard as this is to admit, it just doesn't look like what we have in place now is up to the task. I hate typing that, but after four full seasons, we still won't have a win over a good team. We only have one more shot this year, and we are not winning in Death Valley.
