I know we have to have the VHSL power point rating scale; we can't allow subjectivity to encroach in who makes the playoffs. But I haven't seen any poll that I think is more accurate than the one by VirginiaPreps.

The one mentioned in this thread accounts more for SOS, opponent's record. More accessible poll? Up to the viewer I suppose.

These polls are entirely numbers based. They are not subjective in any way but are remarkably accurate by the 7th or 8th game of the season. At this time of the year and with the schedules some of these teams run, looking at these standings is a complete waste of time.

I understand what you are saying, but somewhere between numbers based and subjective is probably the right answer.
