Did I miss the memo on Russell being a good runner? They must not have seen too much film yet.***

Definitely the weak link of the secondary...

The Tenn game takes on a very different complexion if Hunter doesn't drop that sure TD pass just before the half... was 2 steps behind Belue on that one. Outcome would have been the same, but it would have still been a major momentum shift..

"I done came a long way"...

...I realize the University of Alabama is not considered a citadel of academic achievement, but does the bar really have to be this low?

I believe that guy, Ellis Lankster, was a commit to us under Croom before changing his mind and heading to West Virginia.

And I'm not going to name names, but several of our more notable players are brutal interviews as well. Interviews with college athletes are pretty much useless.

Tusk, you got a VHS recording of the Deuce saying "I amazes the coaches, I amazes the other players, sometimes I even amazes myself"? Would love to see it. Seems likes he said it around 92-93.

I remember seeing it live, unfortunately VHS...

was too slow to record "the Deuce" ...

seriously, that cat was a true game changer if I ever saw one...

I'm a homer, I know, but I believe he was the better "Deuce"...

No doubt he was a game changer. I'm also a UT alum & was stupid enough to pull for them for a few years (98 SECCG restored my sanity). In the 93 game, everybody watching knew who was getting the ball not only for the TD but also for the 2-pt conversion. And UT still couldn't stop him.

How about any VHS footage of Buck Johnson standing by Wimp saying "We went out there and we did what we had to did"?
