Huggins made a good point last week about how they are trying to change the game with the shot clock and foul changes.

They want to eliminate the underdog upsets and turn it into a highlight reel fast break game. WVU however is throwing a wrench into that with our Press.

Absolutely. Cuban is trying to recreate everything that lead to that 2004 Olympic Team that lost to Puerto Rico. We learned our lesson once, now he wants to go down the same road again. He's a freaking idiot.

You have totally lost me. What does Cuban have anything to do with wvu basketball and the style of play?

He has said repeatedly that he hates watching NCAA basketball and wants the NCAA to go to a 24 second clock and tighter officiating. That leads to nothing but fast paced, high scoring affairs with little physical presence.

It also removes strategy from the game to a large degree. When you shorten the game, the more athletic team has the advantage.

This plus I'll add they want the NCAA to be more like the NBA to get the players ready for the NBA. At least I think I read that somewhere.
