I stopped reading when you said educate

I’ll have an iq competition with you at any point you want.

I’ll give you 5 to 1 odds and I’ll front the cost of the test.

we can do it at the vet school if you even know how to find it.

Yes. But there are going to be bad teams in any structure we set up. There are bad NFL teams and those are the most talented guys in the world.

I’m talking about the entire structure. Everything that draws the media and CFP money is based on the colleges and their alums. Those contracts only exist in those amounts bc of the colleges and fans.

Again. What would command an amount closer to the current media and CFP contracts:

1. Flipping every college roster to D2 kids OR
2. Keeping the same kids but having them play in random locations with different names and different colors?

its obviously #1. As was pointed out, option 2 is basically a version of every other failed FB league experiment.

Part of our attendance issue is, in addition to losing, that in the modern day tv we have an abnormally large stadium when you look at enrollment and surrounding population. In no universe should our stadium be 2/3 the size of Aubruns or Alabamas. We weren’t exactly packing DWS during Leachs 2 good years.
I think the truth is that this is a 2 way street… it takes both. Good players and school that cares. You could take Ohio state’s team and swap them with Yale and I guarantee you Ohio state will be less fired up about their team and Yale still won’t give a ****.

Unless they win a National Championship or compete for one. Hypothetical so it will never happen. 95% of viewers would love to see an underdog win the NC while a school's fans make up the 5% for the other side. Do you think I'm pulling for Alabama or LSU if they are playing TCU or North Carolina State? I always pull for the underdog because they are playing at a serious disadvantage. The high $ teams can suck eggs as far as I'm concerned.

Well our attendance at games says otherwise and the general theme of this board says otherwise
No it doesn't. You missed the point.

Obviously any one team is going to suffer from losing their best players because it will yield worst results. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about if the overall level of talent in major college football was reduced (even somewhat dramatically) across the board,
it would have no impact on rating or attendance.

To say it another way, if you let all the players walk that want pay-for-play or they quit, the product would march on like nothing ever happened. As long as the ones remaining are wearing Alabama, Texas, Michigan, etc uniforms.

Our attendance and fan interest 100% fluctuates with how good our team is.

not sure how some of you get dressed every day.

And I'm not sure how you continue to miss the point, but here we are.

"Good" is relative to who you are competing against. If all teams are 30% worse, it would have no impact on attendance or fan interest.
