Cuse had NBA talent across the entire roster. Playing at The Carrier Dome was
impossible for the opponent. They really screwed up by leaving BigEast.

I always thought Shorter would have been a really good NBA guy. Never did

I'd say both. Cuse were not recruiting in the Metro area like they once did. There was decline towards the end of the Boeheim era as far as success. Although the schools that left The BigEast profited financially, their Athletic Brands have suffered.

Syracuse Pitt and BC were never the same after the Big East departure. They made more money. They were 3 great basketball programs thst have been mediocre to bad. And their football is as bad.
