If my memory is correct, we were blown out up there. And still did OK.

Yup. Cuse kicked our *** to our collective "oh no" And then we went back to work.

This team doesnt need the formula to work.

Pitt also had our number that year. Lost to Sean Miller, Shorter and Matthews.

I always thought Shorter would have been a really good NBA guy. Never did

I'd say both. Cuse were not recruiting in the Metro area like they once did. There was decline towards the end of the Boeheim era as far as success. Although the schools that left The BigEast profited financially, there Athletic Brands have suffered.
Syracuse Pitt and BC were never the same after the Big East departure. They made more money. They were 3 great basketball programs thst have been mediocre to bad. And their football is as bad.
