...I really think anyone that says Alabama in this situation just has an unchecked hate for them. It's Death Valley all the way. Even though, the time I went to both stadiums were really enjoyable despite the losses.

Over both of those, I'd say Little Rock. Those people are nuts. Out of those 2, Death Valley... but I still recommend going. I've had some good fun at people's tailgates in Red Stick. Bama is somewhat boring. They just talk about their chaampeeeeoonnnnchips n' such.

"enjoyable despite the losses."

Did you send letters to their local papers and athletic departments about how great it was and that you are now a fan of their schools?

Agreed. Little Rock is the answer.

I've been to 3 games in Little Rock, 3 in Baton Rouge, and 2 in Alabama. I had 3 bad experiences in Little Rock and 0 in either of the others.

Nope.......I've been to both multiple times and it's been my experience that

Bama fans are actually more obnoxious than LSU fans and more arrogant......Bama fans are the WORST in the league in my personal experience.......Redneck, tattooo wearing, Bear Bryant ball lickers.......It's gotten worse with Saban there as well.......

Ive never had a problem in death valley besides the usual, "MSU sucks" yelled at you from across a side walk. The place that myself and my groups have gotten it the worst is Oxford no doubt.

My dad took me and a friend to see State play LSU somewhere in the 1984-86 range; can't really remember the year. I would've been around 12 years old. State, getting stomped as usual in those days, had us leaving the game about 5 minutes early and a couple of drunk LSU fans (I know that's redundant) stand up and start yelling obscenities at us. I remember one of them distinctly yelling "take those little bastards and get the f back to MS." I've never really thought too much of any LSU fan or the fanbase since.

oh, no doubt Bammers are obnoxious and probably more arrogant, too...

I took his question to be from a "physical" standpoint... but I realize that Bama fans get treated differently at LSU than MSU fans do...

i know it wasn't a choice... but i've been confronted by more abusive fans ANYWHERE the rebs (black bears) are playing. i've been to several of their games, incognito, and not really showing any allegiances at all only to find that their fanbase is drunk enough around half time to fight a grandma over the last pork rinds in the grocery store.

ls-who and BDS, my vote is death valley. oddly enough, alcohol is usually involved there too.

I would encourage you to make a trip to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, where you will likely find a much greater level of fan abuse than AL, AR, LSU or TSUN. However, for some reason all of those sons a bitches that greeted me going in were gone when I came out of there the last time.

Never been to LSU, but have been to Alabama several times and never had a problem with one-on-one abuse. In the game when we were both 8-0 (1999?), we sat in the endzone and the fans in the suites above us were throwing things down onto us. Other than that, never a problem.

Went to the game in Gainsville last year, and it was just the opposite of what you said. We were in the section right next to the student section, on the end of the row by them, and no problem whatsoever. If fact, one kinda cute UF coed, pretty much drunk, decided to sit in my lap. I guess it's my "fatherly" look ....

We won the game, and after it was over had to walk over a mile back to the parking garage. No abuse whatsoever from any fan.

I've been hit with ice and cups at Death Valley during the game but nothing physical. However at bama a few of us started the gator chomp when we were losing and a grown man came across two sections trying to fight us and a friend was punched in the face leaving the game, though he probably was talking crap to a bammer fan.

Key word here being abusive

I'd have to say LSU. When I was in the band, I was flipped off, had glass beer bottles thrown at me, mooned, and someone tried to get on our bus to "fight". I guess. He was banging on the bus to try to get in. This was 1998.

I have been back several times since then, and I have noticed that the security is MUCH better at Tiger Stadium since my first visit. To me, that was the problem with LSU- it wasn't the alcohol really, it was just the lack of security and the fact that what little was there would let LSU fans so whatever the hell they wanted to do to anyone. And then they tried to pass it off as "atmosphere".

Haven't really had a problem at Alabama ever other than the occasional "your team sucks".

Ole Miss fans seemed to have an identity problem- it was like they were trying to decide if they were going to act like LSU fans by flipping us off or act arrogant. Kind of a weird place.

I think I overlook Arkanas just because they seem pretty stupid in general.

Ive been to BDS and Death Valley and never had a problem in either place. Had several LSU tailgates invite us in and they were nice to us. They knew they were going to beat us so no need in being hostile I guess.

Without a doubt, LSU. The only fistfights I ever was involved was with LSU "fans". I never get in fights.

Superdome (baseball), Davis/Wade (thrown out), Tiger Stadium...... wherever,,,,.

When a 10 year old runs up to you, and flips you off, and says "f u, bulldog". And another says, "We want you to hate us, f head, so you never come back here."

Needless to say, I hope LSU loses in tiddly winks.

Been to Bryant-Denny 3 times, and never had problems with Bama fans.

With all due respect, we did not play Florida last year. I assume you are referencing the 2010 game that we won 10-7. As for the fans, I'm sure we all have different road experiences. However, having been to every stadium in the conference multiple times, Florida is the worst for me. I'm not sure how many trips you have made there but I have seen every Mississippi State game there since 1987 with the exception of the 1990 and 2005 games (including the trips to Orlando and Tampa) and most all of them have involved some of their more "educated and colorful" supporters that must have been Gator English majors (if they actually ever attended a class on that campus).
As for your 2010 experience, I commend your good fortunes and like you (and as noted in my previous post), I did not see any of the folks while walking back to my car that I encountered coming into the stadium. In fact, I don't ever remember going there when it was so quiet after the game!

I went to LSU twice with the band, once with the full band and once with a pep band (the 51-0 disaster of a game). At the end of both games we had a 70 year old grandma-type give us the bird with both hands and told the band to 17 ourselves. It was not the same lady both years.

Bama fans are arrogant but alright. Arkansas fans in Little Rock are damn annoying.

Neither are that bad. Alabama fans left us alone when me and a buddy went two years ago. They would seriously just avert their eyes as we passed and act like we didn't exist. LSU fans would just good natured-ly "Tiger Bait!" us as we passed. Don't go looking for trouble and you probably won't find it.

I've never felt any hostility at T-town. Now, Death Valley? My last visit consisted of two near fist fights. That was just trying to leave the stadium. Then I had to get out of my car to confront some pricks shooting a laser in my car while at a red-light.
I haven't been back despite a better grip on my anger. You'll be looked upon as a pathetic MSU fan, but Bummers are not confrontational in my experience.

The worst thing that has happened to me at either place was my girlfriend getting hit by a car the last time we played at LSU. It was in baton rouge but was an Alabama fan driving. Therefore, I can not give a clear answer.

I usually have a good time at both with no problems. Going back to both this year.

Been to Ole Miss, Auburn, Alabama, LSU, Georgia and Tennessee as a Mississippi State fan. Haven't had a bad experience at any of them.

Oddly enough

I never had any problems when I went to Florida in 2005, yet when they came to Starkville in 2009, they were the worst road fans I have seen to date.

You had this guy sitting in the alumni section wearing a freaking hard hat and a Tim Tebow jersey who cussed out (Tebow should be proud since that's what he stands for) someone's about 10 year old kid. The guy was lucky that security got there before his Dad knocked him the 17 out. It was like a coast trash convention in Starkville that night.

I expect more of the same, from Bammer....

throw on first downs some to get ahead of the chains a little bit... grind and grind on the clock and try to keep yall's defense on the field.

I think if yall sell out completely to stuff the run AJ could have a really good night...

come the second half, after leaning on MSU DL so much, Saban will go into a shell and run it over and over...

I would like to see ~40 rushes for ~240 & see McCarron do something along the lines of 18-28-200-1-0

I really like Alabama's chances to win big if they don't turn the ball over a lot and limit explosive plays by MSU.

Don't forget that we do have two great cover corners so I expect us to turn the

heat up on AJ................I'm not predicting a State win because Bama is good and beating Bama in their place with the Refs ALWAYS giving them the breaks will be too much to overcome.......

oh, I'm very aware of Banks... he's the one guy I'd trade for in a heartbeat (Bumphis too).... Slay is really good also.

I think our WR corps is overshadowed by the run game and the Defense, but are very serviceable.

The refs won't be the difference in this game, however... I think the disparity in talent will be...
