Last week you bragged about our RB leaving the game. Even credited your brother for the hit. Now a week later what happened? Rumor has it #14 sprung or broke his ankle. I hate that for the kid. He was y'alls team, but never glorify an injury. On someone cause whats goes around comes around. Being MICS was yalls super bowl. Y'all overlooked Union Academy, a real good team. At least y'all conference champs though. Alligator mouth with a hummingbird's yea you know the rest.

Bessemer City couldn't run all over TJ's defense. MICS couldn't run all over TJ's defense. Defense had a bad night. Came out sluggish and/or uninspired and then lost a couple players to injury. A bug going around, limited/kept players out of practice. This isn't the first time TJ has had a game like this, and it won't be the last, but TJ likely will still have a bye to get healthy and get the defense back on track.
And #14 didn't sprain or break an ankle. He was walking on the sideline.
MICS beat MICS last week. Everything that could go wrong did. I betcha they don't wanna see us again. They're praying they don't, but if that QB is hurt. TJA will be known as a team that melted under the spotlight. 1 trick pony where the depth at?

Credit to the UA team and coaching staff. The team came out ready to play. This one worried me all week. It was a perfect trap game. Coming off a big win, senior night at the opposing teams stadium with a chance to knock off an undefeated team. And UA is a good young team. TJ did have their challenges with injuries. When you lose your first two options at QB it makes it hard, but our sophomore QB played really well. Had a chance to win late in the 4th, but just couldn't convert on 4th . Still there is a lot to be learned from a loss like this one. It didn't change anything so may be for the best to get the undefeated monkey off the kid's back.
Rich and Gunz. I saw #11 on UA after the game. The kid is a legit 6'4" maybe 6'5". Good hands, and speed. I think he would make a great addition to the MIC roster next year. He and your #1 QB would be a deadly pair. And he's only a sophomore. Just the way you like them. You should make a recruiting trip in the spring. I'm sure his coach isn't doing enough to get him a D1 scholarship.
Ths55 and Van Camp.... How do y'all feel this morning to know you blew it. In the words of OL'Rich can you say "pop goes the weasel". And the weasel went pop. Went from conference champs to co-champs with Bessemer. I guess them fake Jordan's started to wear off at the sole. TJA your nothing more than a glorified back up singer. So set back and watch us work.
I have a lot of respect for TJ. Andrews use to play them and even met in the playoffs. They were always a class act on the field and well coached. Good luck in the playoffs
Rich you obviously struggled in school. Let me help you understand how this works. TJ lost a game that didn't change anything. Still conference champs (who cares if it's shared with a 1AA team), still the #3 seed with a bye. We gained a refocused team, and got rid of the burden of an undefeated season. I feel great. Hoping for a TJ/MIC rematch in the state semifinal. Take advantage of your week off to do some early recruiting for next year. You guys have to stay relevant.
