The RU Baseball team finishes it's homestand against the Wagner Seahawks. Wagner is 7-16.
Lefty Jarred Bellisimo gets the start. The mid week non conference games have been 'pitching by committee' up to now, with about 4 pitchers getting 2 innings each or so.
Free admission, free parking, but go online and register the car.. Weather should be good (mid 60s and clear).
Pitching getting better as the season progresses. Bats , not so much.

Freshman Jared Bellissimo is set to make his third start on Wednesday. The left-hander pitched five shutout innings last week versus Stony Brook with six strikeouts and only two hits allowed. "

"Rutgers, owning a strength of schedule of No. 35 nationally according to D1Baseball.com, is now 5-4 in one-run games this season and has had 13 of its last 15 games decided by three runs or less. After not reaching extra innings once last year, the team has done so four times in 2019 to match the total from 2014. The last season with five games in extra innings was 2013."
Rutgers has a 3 game series at Iowa starting Friday. Iowa is 16-10, 3-3 in Big10 play. Getting 2 out of 3 would be terrific. A very good litmus test. Bats need to wake up.
