Deandre Ward was on a special about walk-ons getting scholarships. They said that walk-ons have to pay for their meals. Does that mean team meals too?

Desmond Howard reminds me of the remote control. Every time he talks I want to hit the mute button.

I was surprised by that too - have to pay for meals. That's lame. Is that a NCAA rule?

That isn't true. I know walk ons get allotted the same amount of money for food as everyone else. They may not say it but I know for a fact they do

They probably just mean meals as in regular daily meals. Scholarship athletes get maxed out cafeteria and student union meal plans. Probably just saying walk-ons don't get that.

I thought that any celebrity in that duck suit would have been pretty cool, especially if Corso took the head from him.

i think desmond is awesome, but then again, i like some that many around here dislike. obviously, they have different functions and are seen in different capacities, but here is my hierarchy. watch the gameday "sloppy body" on youtube....its hilarious. when desmond gets worked up, i think he is hilarious.

some of my favorites:
dave neal
kirk herbstreit
chris fowler
rece davis
desmond howard

ok with:
jesse palmer
lee corso (gone down considerably since his stroke...used to love the guy)
danny kanell
brent musburger
todd blackledge

cant stand:
david pollock
vern lendquist
gary danielson (mostly because of association with lendquist)
rod gilmore
andre ware

I didn't like the duck at first but the schtick grew on me towards the end.
