Welcome aboard, Mr. Toppin! Enjoy the ride!
Dude is 6’7”.
Great get for the Cats! Hopefully Haarms is next.
Damn ok...lets see how this player develops.
Glad to have ya, Toppin!

Heyyyyyy should be a solid pickup and really good role player.
He averaged like 6 and 4 as a freshman in 30 games this year. He has a really solid body and most people think he is a bit of a late bloomer, sort of like Obi was. He has some skills, but is still raw.
Not a big move for next year. Hopefully down the line. 9th 10th on the roster, but fills a spot and like I said hopefully ready to play some in 2021-2022 season.
If he’s half as good as his brother I’ll be happy. His brother was tough.
I like it. Depth and development for a couple of years.
I just saw this a minute ago. That happened fast. I wish Haarms would happen that fast. Says Toppin is coming as a traditional transfer. I wonder if it's 2021 for him or if there is any chance for 2020. Anyway, if this kid is anything close to his brother he should be solid for years to come.
Also finally, some good F-ing news! A Haarms Friday would make the week feel halfway decent.

Guys he is gonna be VERY good imo. Once he adds to his frame, watch out
I guess we're collecting bodies. that's good.
Any "traditional" transfer has a legit case for a hardship/free transfer.
Fill that roster, Cal. Don't want to be down to 7 players like last year.
We gotta start getting players that don't have one foot out the door and love playing in college basketball.
He played in all thirty of ri’s games this year. 5pts, 4rb. i’m really glad we got this kid.
I hope he is eligible next year—whenever that might be
.
RI website lists him at 6’8”

He will sit out and sharpen his game against Clark and Boston in practice.
Practice player and could eventually develop into something great. Works for me.
Cal grabbed Mintz and Toppin out of nowhere...wonder who else he is working on?
Other than Haarms.
Other than Haarms.
We're popping out unknown quick commit guys like bonkers.
Since he's transferring here it may play out that way. If he had signed here outta HS, chances are he would've transferred out after one year. I hope he sticks it out and develops into a beast.
I didn't realize there were so many Rhode Island fans/experts on this forum. Awful lot of people suddenly know a whole bunch about Toppin.
No idea how anyone can say he is going to be great based on his profile and results so far. But, I hope they are correct.
He's definitely a guy to have as a practice player this year so that's a big benefit.
