My guess is they both called each other at the exact same time! HahahaWhether it was Trae or MS making the first contact is 50/50.

Happened this past season
Yes canceled the game weeks ahead...before a snap was ever played?

Decent chance Matty is gone by the time this kid is done with his RS freshman year. Why is it crazy. Are you suggesting Trae bails right now ?
I didn’t see who cater is gonna be living with. With Dylan. his parents moved to Georgia too.Kind of like Raiola moving to a Georgia high school for his senior year?
Could be.Decent chance Matty is gone by the time this kid is done with his RS freshman year.
Seems like there's an easy enough solution to this:I actualy hate what has become of sports in regards to this type of stuff and that Class A title game was gross AF. Guess there ain't no going back now, but I hate it. No ill will towards schools or players taking advantage of it, but it feels dirty.
Christian LaCouture – LSUCould be.
Dylan moved to Georgia when he was committed to UGA.
Anyone remember the D-Lineman we had committed that moved to Omaha from Texas maybe then decommitted cause he was super unpopular in the Omaha high school and he went to LSU. Anyone remember that kid? It’s been maybe 12 years
until the sign, anything can happen. The 2027 class makes me think of the 2007 class. Was going to be great until BC got fired
Yep, and he didn't even end up being some absolute stud at LSW...it was weird watching him play.
Lincoln HighOh wow i did not know. Who was it?
I think just play where you live. If you want to buy a house or apt within the district boundaries so be it. Making a run at state with the neighborhood kids you grew up with sounds like a fever dream now.Seems like there's an easy enough solution to this:
1. Set up a preparatory program and have them play nationally. You could have one or a few different teams from the prep program.
2. Make Millard South's program public enrollment again with stricter rules and make Class A more competitive top to bottom.
I hope Millard North’s defense circles him.The governor better inform every opponent on Millard South schedule to not hurt the future Husker qb.
True. Wonder what would happen if Rhule gets whacked next year. Is Trae committed to Nebraska or Rhule. Hoping the former.Kinda crazy especially all the heat around Rhule currently
I believe he has said that he’s committed to Nebraska (as long as Rhule is there)True. Wonder what would happen if Rhule gets whacked next year. Is Trae committed to Nebraska or Rhule. Hoping the former.
Who’s that?Normally yes, but Westside does already have their QB.
It was obvious Trae. Coach Rhule recommended Millard South to Trae and family as they were considering moving to Nebraska for his last year. He wants to be closer and the family wants to get settled before he starts college.Whether it was Trae or MS making the first contact is 50/50.
I’m not sure that he’ll face the same kind of competition he would have if he had stayed put. Makes me wonder what promises have been made.I think just play where you live. If you want to buy a house or apt within the district boundaries so be it. Making a run at state with the neighborhood kids you grew up with sounds like a fever dream now.
I agree that will happen but the NSAA will need to marshal that to prevent students from mostly remote learning and travel tho building for the team bus or home game.He is an athlete at the most important position. When he doesn’t want to commute they will let him “remote learn” = he take the days off
Sure.It was obvious Trae. Coach Rhule recommended Millard South to Trae and family as they were considering moving to Nebraska for his last year. He wants to be closer and the family wants to get settled before he starts college.
Good lord... that would be the worst kept secret in a school. These kinds of comments are ridiculous... I guess the entire student body, faculty and staff would sweep that under the rug. Way to paint the kid with a negative brush when you know nothing about him.I agree that will happen but the NSAA will need to marshal that to prevent students from mostly remote learning and travel tho building for the team bus or home game.
NSAA(Nate Neuhaus)…I agree that will happen but the NSAA will need to marshal that to prevent students from mostly remote learning and travel tho building for the team bus or home game.
You can talk to that joker Throne all you want, and you might be right in this case. but there are seriously parents of kids( I won’t say they are directed to, but it is known what their job is)from MS texting other high school kids who they don’t even know about coming to MS.100% facts. I talked to the AD.
Pretty stupid in my opinion.Whoa! That's pretty freakin awesome!! Unless things have changed substantially since the last time I did it, that commute from Lincoln to Omaha twice a day is gonna be a b*tch though.
He'll have fun passing to those wide open receivers and being up by 50 at halftime of every game. What a challenge!Good for him I guess? I just hate the current state of high school football.
Bad news for everyone who plays against Millard South's semi-pro all stars. That's as committed a recruit I've ever seen. MS going to repeat for sure now, great news for everyone except the expected ms qb.
Not sure exactly what you’re talking about. I was referring to Trae Taylor. I was surprised he didn’t go to MN with the other transfers who are Husker committs . Rhule told him to go to MS because they would prepare him for the next level. You can talk to that joker Throne all you want, and you might be right in this case. but there are seriously parents of kids( I won’t say they are directed to, but it is known what their job is)from MS texting other high school kids who they don’t even know about coming to MS.
I can’t imagine anything more creepy, and Throne loves it.
The new Lincoln HS's forfeited games earlier on game week a few times. I think this year was the first time Waverly actually got to play against Lincoln NW or Standing Bare. Previous games were forfeits-- their administration made up some stories to justify it. The NSAA has been ignoring this problem for years now. Schools should just refuse to play Millard South. F 'em.Serious question..is it possible we could see some schools who have to play M.S. forfeit before they ever play a snap? Could that happen? I believe its happened at half before, I want to say it was Lincoln High? I'm drowing in oxy right now so maybe my dizzy brain is playimg tricks on me but back to my ?... could it happen?
They went to Nevada and played a team that lost four games last year. Beat the sh*t out of them and the MS coach strained his shoulder patting himself on the back after that one.If they go back to vegas, at least play Bishop, not some bum team.
I've seen that with a few in-state Husker kids too. They don't dominate in HS like you think they would.Yep, and he didn't even end up being some absolute stud at LSW...it was weird watching him play.
Sure did well at LSU though.
Is Matt Rhule really that out of touch? What an unpopular move if that is true. Nebraska head coach snubs all of those other high school programs and tells the kid to sign on with the team that was already going to beat everyone by 50.It was obvious Trae. Coach Rhule recommended Millard South to Trae and family as they were considering moving to Nebraska for his last year. He wants to be closer and the family wants to get settled before he starts college.
Why not throw a Lincoln school a bone? Trae would draw in so me other kids.Is Matt Rhule really that out of touch? What an unpopular move if that is true. Nebraska head coach snubs all of those other high school programs and tells the kid to sign on with the team that was already going to beat everyone by 50.
Hard to get better when you're playing against North Platte and Benson.I’m not sure that he’ll face the same kind of competition he would have if he had stayed put. Makes me wonder what promises have been made.
