Anyone remember the D-Lineman we had committed that moved to Omaha from Texas maybe then decommitted cause he was super unpopular in the Omaha high school and he went to LSU. Anyone remember that kid? It’s been maybe 12 years

Seems like there's an easy enough solution to this:
1. Set up a preparatory program and have them play nationally. You could have one or a few different teams from the prep program.
2. Make Millard South's program public enrollment again with stricter rules and make Class A more competitive top to bottom.
Yep, and he didn't even end up being some absolute stud at LSW...it was weird watching him play.
Sure did well at LSU though.
The governor better inform every opponent on Millard South schedule to not hurt the future Husker qb.
I think just play where you live. If you want to buy a house or apt within the district boundaries so be it. Making a run at state with the neighborhood kids you grew up with sounds like a fever dream now.

It was obvious Trae. Coach Rhule recommended Millard South to Trae and family as they were considering moving to Nebraska for his last year. He wants to be closer and the family wants to get settled before he starts college.
I’m not sure that he’ll face the same kind of competition he would have if he had stayed put. Makes me wonder what promises have been made.
I agree that will happen but the NSAA will need to marshal that to prevent students from mostly remote learning and travel tho building for the team bus or home game.
Good lord... that would be the worst kept secret in a school. These kinds of comments are ridiculous... I guess the entire student body, faculty and staff would sweep that under the rug. Way to paint the kid with a negative brush when you know nothing about him.
You can talk to that joker Throne all you want, and you might be right in this case. but there are seriously parents of kids( I won’t say they are directed to, but it is known what their job is)from MS texting other high school kids who they don’t even know about coming to MS.
I can’t imagine anything more creepy, and Throne loves it.

Not sure exactly what you’re talking about. I was referring to Trae Taylor. I was surprised he didn’t go to MN with the other transfers who are Husker committs . Rhule told him to go to MS because they would prepare him for the next level.
The new Lincoln HS's forfeited games earlier on game week a few times. I think this year was the first time Waverly actually got to play against Lincoln NW or Standing Bare. Previous games were forfeits-- their administration made up some stories to justify it. The NSAA has been ignoring this problem for years now. Schools should just refuse to play Millard South. F 'em.
They went to Nevada and played a team that lost four games last year. Beat the sh*t out of them and the MS coach strained his shoulder patting himself on the back after that one.
I've seen that with a few in-state Husker kids too. They don't dominate in HS like you think they would.
Is Matt Rhule really that out of touch? What an unpopular move if that is true. Nebraska head coach snubs all of those other high school programs and tells the kid to sign on with the team that was already going to beat everyone by 50.
