I know reading comprehension scores are low in waynesville so I’ll help you a little bit with this one THS91. Mountainfolk was agreeing with my prediction of the Mounties running into a buzzsaw, LiL Buddy.

They can try to force us to pass just as Pisgah and Smoky tried to do. Smoky which y'all squeaked by as well, also thought they would stop us and score a bunch, west's D Line better be ready for 4 quarters of pounding, that Mountaineer O-Line is no joke....are they up to it??
Don’t get all warm and fuzzy quite yet LiL Buddy. If things don’t go my way Friday I’ll probably just wait on Chappell to get here next year. Looks like he has a good track record with you guys.

Squeaked by? West was up 17 and never trailed Smoky, unlike Tuscola, and West beat Pisgah by 24, again unlike Tuscola. I can promise you West will have the best front 7 you’ve seen all year.
Listen Tuscola isn’t going to throw some wrinkle nor will it be some big guess as to what you’re going to do. You’re gonna wanna run behind that OL and up to this point you’ve been able to do it, but again you haven’t seen a front 7 like West will throw out there nor have you seen an offense that is going to test the limits of your offense to keep scoring pace.
Tuscola has played a fairly weak schedule to this point. I can bet your OL is no bigger than Hendersonville nor is your rushing attack any more potent than Angus Weaver and his 4,000+ career rushing yards down at Polk.
West is going to force you to pass more than you’ve had to all year. I’ll put money on it.

And the Tennessee comment was out of left field, I thought being undefeated made you good? Do you have some kind of unworked through trauma concerning Tennessee football? I’m not a therapist but I can give you a number to call.

Once again THS 91 reading comprehension! I never said I didn’t go to West, I said I was in the marching band. You’ve been here longer than me so you might have to tell me how to double space these comments so that you can read them easier.
Seems to me THS needs to find SOME sort of a passing game for this one. I was thinking against SM, with their DL in the THS backfield more than it was on their side of the field a screen pass might be effective now and then. Something, ANYTHING, to at least make them think a little about defending THEIR side of the LOS might be a good idea.
Not sure how many yards they have on the ground… but I expected them to move the ball more running. We’ll see what happens in the 2nd half
