so I scored BCSNCG** tickets and I want to liquidate them (if the price is right)...

any of you cats eBay savvy? I'd be willing to pay a commission for your efforts!

I've sold tickets on ebay before and made a good profit. It's really not that hard to do.

The main thing that you'll need to figure out is what exactly you'd be willing to give them up for. You can set a minimum bid on the site.

I'd also be glad to help you under two conditions:
1) I get $250 or 10% of the sale price (which ever one is higher)
2) You have to mail me the tickets beforehand. When selling things on ebay, it's important to state exactly what's going to happen and ship immediately following the sale. I will not jeopardize my reputation on ebay for this.

Ebay is fine but Stubhub is tons easier. Yes, you pay the commission, but set a price that includes the 15% they charge, and list them. Aim higher than you thnk they will sell. You will be surprised what people will pay. What makes Stubhub so easy is the shipping. Presuming these aren't downloadable tickets, you will ship them Fed Ex but Stubhub sends you the pre-paid shipping label, so all you do is print it off, drop the tickets in a Fed Ex box with their label, and wait a few days for Stubhub to pay you. Ebay and Craigslist take the commission out of play, but then you have to deal with people's integrity in the payment and the inevitable delay in waiting for them to pay. They are no more eager to part with that kind of cash without tickets in hand than you are to part with the tickets without cash. With Stubhub, when it sells, your money is already in hand (with Stubhub). Once they get delivery confirmation, then they pay you. No meeting up, awkward calls or texts, just shipment and payment.

People keep mentioning Stubhub's cut, but Ebay also takes a cut, not to mention if you use paypal and their small fee. I would imagine it would be about the same. Neither are difficult. With Ebay, make sure you don't allow international bidders or else Nigerian Prince Nkemdiche will bid 3 times the buyout and you have go thru the whole re-listing shenanigans.

Ebay kind of protects the sellers, but when it comes down to it, their rules favor the buyers if you have some 17er complaining. I feel like Stubhub may be less of a hassle since they deal strictly in tickets. I would imagine they could be a little more time sensitive as well.

Same experience here. StubHub gets juice from both the buyer and the seller, but I've always felt very good about the integrity of the transaction. I've both bought and sold through StubHub several times. Knowing the worst that can happen is the sale falls through and you're out nothing but a little time makes it worth it for me. And I've never had anything fall through, BTW.
