While we wait to see who will fill the final roster spot on this year's team, I thought we could kill some time with a thought exercise and create a 15 man roster of our own.
GOAL:
Create a what if all-time 15 man roster using only players who played high school basketball in the state of KY.
RESTRICTIONS:
- They CANNOT have been scholarship athletes for UK basketball that played in a game. (No Reed Sheppard, Travis Ford, Pelphrey, types etc)
- Walk-ons, athletes who chose to play other scholarship sports instead of basketball, players who were on scholarship but never officially played a minute ARE ELIGIBLE.
- Any era is open, but please provide some context (high school, where they actually went to college, etc) to help those who may not be familiar.
- For ease of reading and discussing, please break it up into 5 starters, 5 subs, and 5 deep bench players.
