the winner will be determined by which team wants it the most. They have home field advantage, and most people think we have more talent. UM will not admit it, but this game is one they want more than any other game on their schedule this season. Mullen has really gotten to them with his mouth and they want to shut him up. I just hope we understand the determination they have.

UM left a lot on the field yesterday in a heartbreaker against LSU... You will have a hard time convincing me they will be as ready to play us as they were LSU. I don't mean SAYING they want our game, I mean being as determined to go out and win it.

The crucial quarter for us will be the 4th quarter. We are a better conditioned and deeper team. If we can stay with them, we have the advantage in the 4th. BUT, OM can hit the big play. If we get a few of those plays our way, especially down the stretch, we will win.

this.....they have every advantage except that. hope we take advantage of it. they absolutely cannot play any better than they did last night. best performance of the year for them in my opinion. they played up like that last night, vs. atm and texas. i think they were pretty up for alabama too. freeze just picked the wrong games to get up for this year. should have gunned for vanderbilt and msu instead of alabama and lsu.

Freeze appears to be a good coach so he'll have them ready to play......I don't

buy that "demoralizing loss" theory........This is the 'egg bowl' and they'll go all out to win....

bet the farm that Hugh Freeze will have his football team primed and ready for this game. I do not buy the demoralizing loss theory either. We better be ready to play.

Agreed. They will be ready. We will be ready too. It's going to be a good old-fashioned fight and will come down to who wants it most.

You do realize we've had an Egg Bowl Countdown Clock in the lockerroom this year, right? That they've been talking about this game all season, right? I have zero doubt that they will be plenty energized for this game. They, especially the seniors, want it more than you think.

That's been there problem is in the 4th quarter. I've heard em all say it all year long is they dread the 4th quarter....I hope for the same outcome this weekend.

UM turned the ball over 4 times yesterday. LSU turned it over 3 times. I didn't see quality football in that game. I saw one team dragging *** and another giving a lot of effort but they couldn't win when it was being given to them. Jump on their asses and they'll fold. Just like when TX and GA jumped on them they folded up like a cheap lawn chair. People forget they lost to Vandy at home and struggled with AU and ARK. We play well, they can't beat us. Stink it up on defense and they can.

And we have "stunk it up" plenty times on defense this year. It is mandatory that we have someone stay on #12 the entire game. He is a game-changer.

Man, you guys are obsessed with us. A countdown clock? Y'all would rather win the Egg Bowl than have a winning season.

Yeah, we know, one of those countdown clocks that MSU has had for several years for the Egg Bowl, the one that Bear fans said showed that MSU was obsessed with the Bears. And because Bears weren't obsessed with MSU, LSU became their rival. Yeah, we know about that clock.

Not sure who he meant, but it wasn't Texas ... must have been a typo. The fans were snowed by the "elite" Texans and their following so they were excited, but the players must not have been up for that game, given that Texas scored at will.

Otherwise, he's right in what he said, in my opinion.

This is the whole game. Show up with a reasonable game plan on D and do a decent job of tackling, and we will win barring a bad day holding onto the football. Start the game like we did against Arkansas or A&M and I'm not sure we can dig out of any hole we put our selves in.
